1st Day ISTANBUL – TUNIS – NABEUL – HAMMAMET
We meet at Istanbul New Airport, international departures terminal, three hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we begin our Turkish Airlines scheduled flight to Tunis. Upon arrival at Tunis Airport, we transfer to our hotel with our private bus waiting for us at the airport. During the city tour, places you can see include Bourguiba Boulevard, which will make you feel as if you are in France, St. Vincent de Paul Cathedral, built in the 19th century, the statue of Ibn Khaldun, one of the famous Arab scholars of the Middle Ages, and the clock tower, considered a symbol of Tunis. Afterwards, we depart for our Nabeul tour. In Nabeul, the capital of ceramic and pottery art, as we stroll through the mystical streets of the city, we will see many Tunisia-specific items such as copper, leather, embroidery, and cradles. Then we head to Hammamet, nicknamed the Saint-Tropez of Tunisia, built on the seafront and offering magnificent views from its roof terraces. In Hammamet, among the places we will see are its long, clean beaches and azure sea, as well as magnificent parks, luxurious gardens, castle walls, streets, and the large mosque that has managed to preserve the city’s deep-rooted history. After the tour, transfer to the hotel and free time to rest. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.
2nd Day HAMMAMET
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join our extra Kairouan & El Jem & Monastir tour. (80 Euro). We depart for Kairouan and visit the Great Okba Ibn Nefaa Mosque, considered the ancestor of all mosques in the region of the Maghreb and also one of the most important Islamic monuments. This structure, an architectural masterpiece of universal value, is also classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. We will also visit the Aghlabid Basins and finally the tomb of Sidi Sahbi. Then we head to El Jem. The amphitheater here is one of the best-preserved Roman ruins in the world. Built in the mid-3rd century AD (230-240 AD), this monumental amphitheater is the largest remaining Roman monument in Africa and ranks third in the Empire after those in Rome and Verona. One of the last great amphitheaters built during the Roman period, the architectural design of the structure is an improved version of the Colosseum in Rome. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.
3rd Day HAMMAMET
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join our extra Tunis & Carthage & Bardo Museum tour. (80 Euro). We first depart to explore the ancient city of Carthage. In this ancient city, founded by the Phoenicians and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we will discover 3,000-year-old Roman, Byzantine, and Crusader remains in the footsteps of the famous Carthaginian commander Hannibal. Carthage, which contains a series of ancient structures and ruins, reflects its rich history with its thermal baths, temples, and walls. Afterwards, our tour continues with a visit to the Bardo Museum. The museum has a vast collection of artifacts, with Roman mosaics being especially notable. With their intricate designs and vivid colors, each mosaic tells a unique story from Tunisia’s diverse past. Then we head to Tunis’s historic Medina district. We visit the Tunis Medina, also known as Old Tunis, with its narrow streets and bazaar full of souvenir shops. We will visit Souk El Attarine, a famous market located in the historic center of Tunisia’s capital. “Souk” means “market” or “bazaar” in Arabic, and “El Attarine” means “perfumers” or “spice sellers.” Here you may shop as you wish. Afterwards, places you can see include Place de la Kasbah (Historic Tunis Square) and the Zitouna Mosque. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
1- The General Conditions are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered separately from it.
2- If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, Wtatil may cancel the tour up to 21 days before the departure date. In such a case, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest. The full tour fee will be refunded to the guest. For additional services purchased outside the tour, the domestic connecting flight ticket obtained from Wtatil will also be refunded to the guest. If a visa service and travel health insurance were used to apply for a visa on behalf of the guest, these services cannot be refunded as they will have been used. If no visa application has been made, the visa and travel health insurance will also be cancelled and refunded. If the guest purchased the domestic connecting flight from a provider independent of Wtatil, the guest cannot claim any refund from Wtatil in the event that the tour is cancelled by Wtatil. The guest acknowledges in advance, upon purchasing the tour, any material or moral losses that may arise from the cancellation of the tour, and Wtatil cannot be held responsible.
3- If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, Wtatil has the right, in good faith, not to cancel the tour. In this case, since the tour will be provided individually for the guest, the included guidance service will cover only the airport transfer for departure and return abroad.
Cancellation and Changes
4- Our guests have the right to cancel free of charge up to 30 days before the tour departure date, provided that they notify Wtatil in writing, excluding airline tickets for which payment has been made and/or committed to by Wtatil to the airline. If less than 31 days remain until the start date of the trip, cancellation may be made by paying a penalty equal to 50% of the remaining tour fee after the airfare ticket cost. If 15 days or less remain until the start date of the trip, cancellation may be made by paying the full tour fee as a penalty. If cancellation is requested, additional services such as domestic connecting flights, visa services, and travel health insurance may have different refund conditions depending on the cancellation period, so information should be requested in advance regarding their refund status. Wtatil cannot make any commitment regarding refunds for additional services.
Guidance Services and Optional Tours
5- The days and times of the tours specified in the program may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of museums and sites in the destinations and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany guests during the tours.
6- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities, carried out panoramically from the vehicle with guide narration, and do not include museum or site entrance fees, lasting at most 2–3 hours. Panoramic tours, as well as other tours mentioned in the program, if they cannot be carried out because local authorities do not allow visits or entry on the day and time of the tour, or due to closed roads because of any event, and also when the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, Wtatil is not responsible for the inability to perform such tours. Some tours may, where possible, be conducted by public transportation or on foot where roads are closed or vehicle access is not permitted.
7- Our guide may change the days of the city tour and/or additional tours depending on the content of our tours, the number of participants, and the closure status of museums and sites. This also applies in the event of changes in flight times.
8- Important points to consider on our Speed Boat tours: do not eat a heavy meal or drink excessive amounts of water immediately before boarding the boat. Guests with stomach, back, or neck complaints, as well as pregnant guests, must inform their guide of their condition.
9- If a tour or meal service included in the prices is not used, there is no refund.
About Flights
10- Wtatil acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger; in possible disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish law, as well as the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention, shall apply.
11- Delays or flight time changes may occur on scheduled and special flights. Wtatil is obliged to inform such changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the trip accepting the risk of changes/cancellations in flight times.
12- Children aged 0–2 only pay the airport tax fee.
13- In accordance with airline rules, if the outbound flight of a round-trip ticket is not used, the return flight will be cancelled by the airline.
14- For participants in tours with flights, check-in and boarding procedures are personal responsibilities and must be completed by the guest before the flight at the airport, at the relevant airline counters, or online on the airline’s website.
15- Last-minute delays and gate changes that may occur on flights are announced via loudspeaker at the airport and displayed on information boards in the terminal. Guests must follow this information themselves.
16- Wtatil is not responsible for guests who do not arrive at the specified airport at the times announced in accordance with airline rules, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete them on time but do not board the plane, and therefore cannot complete the flight. Guests who miss the plane are responsible for all expenses related to obtaining new round-trip tickets required to join the tour and transfers in the destination area, etc.
17- The general luggage allowance for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This may vary depending on the airline and destination country. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, baggage allowance on those flights may decrease to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/fee rules are determined by the airlines and are not Wtatil’s responsibility.
18- For guests wishing to upgrade their airline tickets using miles (to business or first class); after the tickets are issued, upgrade procedures can be carried out depending on the availability of the airline (please check your loyalty airline). No mileage guarantee is given for each flight. Please check whether the program tickets are in an upgradable fare class.
19- On some airlines, food, beverages, and online check-in services may be subject to extra charges.
Other Matters
20- Wtatil will not accept responsibility for any change or cancellation process made by the guest directly through the hotel. In this case, Wtatil’s cancellation conditions will apply.
21- In cases where the hotel(s) in the tour program are provided only with category information without specifying names and/or are offered as alternatives for the same destination, the guest will be informed by Wtatil 48 hours before departure.
22- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances farther than the specified locations or kilometers. In such cases, Wtatil will inform the guest 15 days before the departure date.
23- At the time of booking the purchased tour, the guest must enter/declare the name as it appears in the passport, date of birth, and passport number correctly in the system. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. Any penalties arising from the cancellation or change of airline tickets due to incorrect information will be charged to the guests.
24- To use your mobile phone abroad, before leaving Turkey, please check with your mobile operator whether your phone is enabled for international use.
25- The hotel check-in time is 15:00 and check-out time is 12:00.
26- Requests regarding the room (high floor, near common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) are communicated to the hotel by Wtatil. Efforts are made to assign rooms according to the guest’s preferences, subject to the hotel’s availability. Fulfillment of these requests depends on availability at check-in and cannot be guaranteed by Wtatil.
27- Breakfast served in hotels differs from the rich breakfast commonly known in Turkish cuisine. It is generally served as a continental breakfast, consisting of limited options such as butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall reserved for the group.
28- In some cases, a double bed may be provided instead of twin beds. Most European hotels offer two beds that can be joined if needed.
29- Child and extra bed policies may vary according to each hotel and room type.
30- Any additional bed and baby cot are provided upon request and subject to the hotel’s availability, and must be approved by the hotel.
31- The maximum capacity for an extra bed or baby cot in the room is 1.
32- There is an extra bed arrangement in triple rooms; in such rooms, the bed assigned to the third person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds are folding or coach beds. Our guests are deemed to have accepted the possible lack of space in the rooms and the bed type caused by the extra beds added to standard rooms in triple and/or child-inclusive bookings.
33- If the number of children staying with adults and the ages of the children stated in hotel reservations are declared incorrectly by the guests, the relevant hotels may charge an additional fee. In such a case, responsibility belongs to the guest who made the incorrect declaration. The hotel may request identification to determine the child’s age.
34- In reservations of 2 adults + 1 child, the child may not have a separate bed. Child prices are valid only if the child stays with two adults. Child discounts apply only to the “single child” in the age group that qualifies to stay with two adults.
35- Daily exchange rate changes are reflected in TL prices. The rates valid at the time of payment apply. Your additional requests, some extra services you receive at the hotel (minibar, ironing, etc.) are subject to extra charges by the hotel. These costs are not included in the purchase price and must be paid directly to the hotel during your stay.
36- Some countries have different practices regarding city, tourism, or local taxes. Any such city, tourism, or other taxes in force are collected by the hotel from the guest upon entry or exit.
37- Distances given in the programs are map-based. Travel times may be longer due to traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the destination country, roadworks, and road conditions.
38- Wtatil may, when necessary or deemed appropriate, change the order of the cities in the program and the main airline to be flown without altering the content of the program.
39- The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs of participants are under their own responsibility, and Wtatil is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. If forgotten items are found, all expenses incurred in delivering them to the country and/or person are the responsibility of the owner.
40- Participants in the tour are required to carry their travel health insurance policies and any medications and reports related to any health issues they may have.
41- For possible extra expenses, the hotel may request a government-issued photo ID/passport and a credit card or cash deposit at check-in. The refund of the deposit requested at check-out is an issue between the hotel and the guest, and Wtatil has no intervention in this matter.
Visa and Passport
42- There is no visa requirement for Turkish citizens.
43- Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel.
44- In order for entry and exit stamps to be placed in your passport at customs/border crossings, your passport must have at least 2 blank pages.
45- Exemption from a visa for entry into the countries on this tour does not mean that entry into or exit from the country is guaranteed; the passport police have the authority to refuse your entry/exit, and Wtatil is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the traveler.
46- Guests who are not Turkish citizens or who have dual citizenship and will join the tour using the passport of another country must personally consult the relevant consulates regarding the visa procedures applied by the country to the passport they will use; otherwise, Wtatil will not be responsible for any resulting consequences.
47- To avoid problems with customs police at the border gates of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet, and/or similarly damaged passports, passports must be renewed. Otherwise, responsibility lies with the traveler.
48- Since there is a possibility that the police officer in charge of entry/exit at the country border may ask for a document showing the mutual consent of both parents when our guests under 18 travel alone or with only one of their parents, we advise our guests under 18 and their parents to be attentive to this matter.
