DAY 01: ISTANBUL AIRPORT - LONDON
We meet our valued guests at 05:00 in front of Turkish Airlines' international departures F counters (counters 1-27), entering through Gate 3 at Istanbul Airport, and complete the check-in procedures. We depart for London on Turkish Airlines flight TK1963 at 11:05. Upon arrival in London at 13:10 local time, we depart from the airport for a panoramic city tour of London with our guide and private coach waiting for us. During our city tour, many of London’s world-famous landmarks will be seen, including Trafalgar Square, the Palace of Westminster, Big Ben, the London Eye, and Tower Bridge. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 02: LONDON
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for a London Walking Tour. First, we take the London Underground (Tube), one of the world’s most famous metro systems, which is not only a fast and practical means of transportation but also part of experiencing London more deeply, to Green Park Station. On this tour, we will walk through London’s famous streets and avenues, seeing both its history and experiencing the city more closely. Our first stop is Buckingham Palace. If we are lucky, we may also have the opportunity to watch the Horse Guards Parade. Then, we will explore some of the city’s most famous and busiest streets and areas, such as Big Ben, Covent Garden, China Town, and Piccadilly Circus. You may also shop at Oxford Circus and Regent Street, London’s largest shopping streets, and explore New Bond Street, home to luxury stores. After the tour, we return to our hotel again by Tube. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 03: LONDON – GLASGOW
Early in the morning, after checking out of our rooms, we head to the train station for Glasgow. After an average 4.5-hour train journey, we arrive in Glasgow. Glasgow, one of Scotland’s largest and most dynamic cities, is a fascinating metropolis that blends historical texture with modern structures. On this city tour, we will visit Glasgow’s most important and impressive points. First, we visit Glasgow Cathedral, one of the city’s oldest structures, built in the 12th century, and one of Scotland’s best-preserved medieval cathedrals with Gothic architecture. We then visit George Square, which opened in 1781 and is considered the heart of Glasgow. Here, we will discover the city’s important monuments and historic structures. Afterwards, City Chambers (City Hall), the city’s famous shopping street Buchanan Street, Kelvingrove Park, Green Park, and the River Clyde are among the places to be seen.
After the tour, you will have free time for dinner. If you wish, you may try delicious Scottish dishes in local restaurants or go shopping. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 04: GLASGOW – EDINBURGH
After breakfast at our hotel, we set off for Edinburgh by our private vehicle. During our journey, we first visit Glengoyne Distillery, where we enjoy a pleasant 75-minute whisky tasting tour, and then continue to Edinburgh.
On our Edinburgh city tour, we will discover the city’s most striking and historic points in a panoramic way. First, we will see the famous Edinburgh Castle from the outside. Then we will go up to Calton Hill, where we can take photos with a magnificent view of the city. Throughout our tour, we will walk along historic streets such as the Royal Mile and Princes Street, and have the opportunity to see the Royal Palace and the Parliament Building from the outside.
After the tour, you will have free time for dinner. If you wish, you may try delicious Scottish dishes in Edinburgh’s local restaurants or go shopping. At the end of the tour, we transfer back to our Glasgow hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 05: EDINBURGH – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
After breakfast at our hotel, following the clearing of our rooms and completion of check-out procedures, at the specified time we will discover the world-famous Kelpies sculptures by our private vehicle. After the tour, we proceed to Edinburgh Airport, and after passport and baggage procedures, we depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1346 at 16:50. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 23:15 local time. End of the tour.
- Depending on availability, accommodations during the tour will be arranged in London and Glasgow, with one city in 3* hotels and the other in 4* hotels.
