FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS & IMPORTANT INFORMATION
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT
This trip is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the start of the tour. A tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the date of completion of the trip and issued within the last 10 years.
For destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be submitted with the documents specified in the “Documents Required for a Visa” list that your agency will provide to you.
To avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports, such passports must be renewed, and if the country applies visas to citizens of the Republic of Türkiye, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
As guests under the age of 18 may travel alone or with only one of their parents, there is a possibility that the police officer on duty at the country's entry and exit points may request a document showing the joint consent of both parents; therefore, we recommend that our guests under the age of 18 and their parents pay particular attention to this matter.
HEALTH
We do not think you will encounter any health-threatening problems with the meals served at the region's good restaurants and hotels. Nevertheless, we recommend that you be careful about eating and drinking when you are not with the group, consume only bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, consume meat and fish products that you are sure have been thoroughly cooked, and choose fruits such as bananas and pineapples that can be peeled. Current vaccination/PCR rules must be followed when entering the country and returning home.

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES
Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency with which we work, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If sufficient numbers are not reached, the excursions may not take place, or the prices, content and vehicles used for optional tours/activities may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of extra tours/activities may be changed by the guide depending on whether museums, archaeological sites or venues at the destinations are open/closed and on weather conditions.
ACCOMMODATION
During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events and sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified km.
Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and in such rooms the bed provided for the 3rd person may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 additional bed. Since additional beds consist of beds referred to as folding beds and coach beds, participants making reservations for a 3rd person and/or child are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible cramped conditions in the rooms and the type of bed.
Child discounts are valid for one (1) child staying with 2 adults and belonging to the age group specified in the pricing section.
Breakfasts included in the tour program and taken at hotels are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally consist of a limited menu of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, known as a continental breakfast; for groups, they may be served in a separate room allocated to the group.
CURRENCY
It is advisable to carry American Dollars (USD) with you.
TIME ZONE
The Eastern United States is 8 hours behind Türkiye in terms of time zone.
For example, when it is 16:30 in Türkiye, it is 08:30 in the Eastern United States.
TELEPHONE USE
Your mobile phone line can be used if it is enabled for international calls (roaming).
CLOTHING AND NECESSARY ITEMS
If you are traveling during the summer season, we recommend bringing T-shirts that can be easily put on and taken off, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket and a thin sweater for the evenings. In addition, you may bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera, their chargers and spare memory cards. During the winter, we recommend clothing that allows you to move comfortably and keeps you warm.
FOOD CULTURE
The country does not have a cuisine of its own, and a fast-food-oriented culture predominates. However, many culinary cultures can be found across the states. Although Chinese cuisine is widespread, you can find Turkish cuisine in many states. Although it does not have a distinct food culture, its cuisine encompasses many cultures.
ELECTRICITY
The electrical current used in America is 110 Volts. In Türkiye, it is 220 Volts. We recommend carrying a plug adapter with you.
SHOPPING
Shopping is available at shopping centers located in city centers and at small businesses selling souvenirs.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for a destination/passport where a visa is required) does not mean that entry into the country will be permitted. Passport control officers have the authority to deny you entry into the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.
The agency is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and charter flights, or times may change before the existing trip and flight. The agency is obliged to notify you of these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children between 0 and 2 years of age do not pay airport taxes and airport service fees
Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours of no more than 2-3 hours, arranged for a general introduction to the cities and conducted panoramically with the guide's commentary from inside the vehicle; they do not include museum or archaeological site entrance fees. If panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, cannot take place because local authorities do not permit visiting or entering the relevant locations on the day and at the time scheduled for the tour, or because roads are closed due to an event, or if weather conditions make the tour impossible, Arma Tur Turizm Seyahat Acentası is not responsible for the inability to conduct these tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where possible, at locations with closed roads or where vehicle access is not permitted.
