1st Day ISTANBUL – PORTO
We meet with our esteemed guests in front of the International Departures terminal at Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we fly to Porto with Turkish Airlines. Following our arrival, we start a panoramic city tour of Porto with our private buses waiting at the airport. The sights to see include the historic buildings of the Rieira district overlooking the Douro River, Bolsa Palace, the Cathedral (Porto Cathedral), House Of The Prince, Sao Francisco Church, Sao Bento train station, the Ponte de Luis I Bridge, and we complete our panoramic city tour along the Douro River. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel for leisure time. Guests who wish can join the extra organized Porto Boat Tour (40 Euros) by our guide. This is a great opportunity to see this magnificent city from the river and our tour concludes after heading out to the Ocean. After the tour, we transfer back to our hotel for overnight stay.
2nd Day PORTO
After breakfast, free time for guests. Those who wish can participate in our extra Braga & Guimaraes tour (80 Euros). Our first stop in one of Portugal's important cities is Braga. Here, we see one of the significant sacred places, the 'Bom Jesus Do Monte' (Church of the Mountain Jesus). This stunning structure can be accessed by climbing 650 steps and is one of the most beautiful examples of granite structures in Northern Portugal. Devout people climb these steps on their knees on holy days to reach the sacred place. After Braga, we head to Guimaraes, the former capital of Portugal. Under UNESCO protection, Guimaraes is a lovely city with its typical houses and squares. After visiting Guimaraes, we drive back to Porto along the beautiful coastal road. Upon arrival, we transfer to the hotel and have leisure time. Guests who wish can join our extra Porto by Night and Light Show Tour (70 Euros). This tour offers a chance to see the iconic points of Porto illuminated at night, and the highlight will be a music-assisted light show inside Clerigos Church during the evening hours. We recommend not to miss this rare show held worldwide. After the tour, we transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
3rd Day PORTO – LISBON
After breakfast, we depart for Lisbon. Along the way, an extra Fatima, Nazare & Obidos tour (60 Euros) will be organized. Our first stop is towards Fatima. This place, where the Virgin Mary appeared to three little shepherds in 1917 and gave them three secrets, is considered one of the largest pilgrimage and worship centers in Christianity. After Fatima, we head to the coastal town of Nazare, famous for its beach. It is impossible not to be impressed by the cliffs of Nazare, where the famous explorer Vasco de Gama came to pray before embarking on long sea voyages. Then we visit the historical site of Obidos, which has preserved its medieval heritage still standing strong with its 12th-century walls, and proceed to Lisbon. Upon arrival, a panoramic city tour of Lisbon is conducted. The sights we will see during our tour include Eduardo VII Park, Rossio Street (the heart of the city), the famous Libardade Square, the Tagus River, São Jorge Castle, the Alfama district, the Alcantara district, the Belem Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries, and Jeronimos Monastery. Afterward, we transfer to your hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
4th Day LISBON
After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish can join our extra organized Sintra, Cascais, Estoril & Cabo de Roca tour (85 Euros). We first see the Sintra Royal Palace, the most important summer residence of the Portuguese monarchy. Then we visit the picturesque fishing villages and the coastal areas of Cascais and Estoril. Our last stop is Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the European continent. After the tour, we transfer back to the hotel. Guests can spend their evenings by joining our extra Fado Night tour (70 Euros without dinner, 95 Euros with dinner). Overnight at our hotel.
5th Day LISBON – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, we transfer to the airport. After ticket and customs procedures, we fly back to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines. After arriving in Istanbul, our tour concludes.
