1st Day Istanbul – Porto
Meet in front of Turkish Airlines check-in counter at Istanbul Airport's (International Departures) 3 hours prior to departure. After luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart for Porto on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1449 at 06:45. Arrive in Porto on local time at 09:45, where our waiting vehicle will take us on a city tour. Porto is the second largest city in the country, famous for its distinct architecture, colorful houses, and narrow streets. During the city tour, our first stop will be Boavista, known as a modern trade and business center. Next, we will visit Queijo Castle located on the Atlantic Ocean coast. From there, passing through the Foz neighborhood, an old fishing village at the mouth of the Douro River, we’ll head towards the Porto center along the riverbanks. Our route begins at Carmo Square, passing through the historic Lello Bookstore and Clerigos Church, then descending to Aliados Square. We will see Bento Station, São Francisco Church, Bolsa Palace, Porto Cathedral, Liberdade Square, Batalha Square, the city’s most famous shopping street Santa Catarina, Luis I Bridge, and Arrabida Bridge. The tour ends with a visit to Ribeira district, a UNESCO World Heritage site along the Douro River. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight at the hotel.
2nd Day Porto
After breakfast at the hotel, guests can optionally join an additional tour of majestic Guimaraes, Bom Jesus de Monte, and Braga for 65 Euros. Guimaraes is a historic city in northern Portugal, considered one of the country's most important cultural and historical centers. Known as the "birthplace of Portugal," it is historically significant as the site where the Portuguese Kingdom was founded in the 12th century. The city looks like an open-air museum with its narrow streets, stone buildings, and medieval structures. In 2012, it was chosen as the European Capital of Culture. The walking tour through its medieval castle, churches showcasing Portuguese architecture, beautiful gardens, historic houses, and streets will remain memorable. Afterwards, we head to Bom Jesus do Monte. Built between 1784 and 1857 by Carlos Amarante in neoclassical style, we will descend the winding staircase in front of the Bom Jesus Cathedral, often called a labyrinth. Then, we proceed to Braga, known as Portugal’s "Rome," as it dates back to Roman times, over 2000 years ago. With its quaint historic streets, colorful squares, and traditional buildings, it offers a journey back in time. After the tour, transfer back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
3rd Day Porto – Fatima – Obidos – Lisbon
After breakfast, we depart for Lisbon. On the way, our first stop is Fatima, a major Christian pilgrimage site where the Virgin Mary appeared to three young shepherd children in 1917 and revealed three secrets. Next, we visit Obidos, a small town that feels like stepping back in time. The residents still wear traditional costumes on some days, maintaining the town’s historic ambiance. With narrow streets, small churches, beautiful houses, and shops, it will be a memorable experience. Afterward, we continue to Lisbon. Optional activity during the journey: a tour of the Majestic Buddha Eden Garden for 40 Euros, featuring Asian-inspired sculptures, large Buddha figures, traditional Chinese gardens, waterfalls, and lush vegetation. Upon arrival in Lisbon, we visit Jeronimos Monastery’s church, then make a photo stop at Belém Tower and the Discoveries Monument on the riverbank. A short walking tour of the historic Alfama district, the oldest part of the city, follows. We pass through Praças do Comércio, Baixa, Rossio, and Restauradores squares, ending at Marques de Pombal Square with a photo stop at Eduardo VII Park. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Guests can optionally join an evening Fado dinner and show for 65 Euros, experiencing Portugal’s soulful traditional music with dinner and drinks. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
4th Day Lisbon
After breakfast, guests may choose to participate in an optional full-day tour of Sintra & Cascais & Estoril & Cabo da Roca for 70 Euros. Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage site north of Lisbon, is renowned for its rich history and stunning natural scenery. The highlight is Pena Palace, a colorful fairy-tale castle atop the hills, symbolizing Sintra. Next, we visit Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe, then proceed to Cascais, a charming seaside town with a fishing port, and Estoril, famous for its casino and as a historic luxury resort destination. After the tour, transfer back to Lisbon.
5th Day Lisbon – Seville
After breakfast, we depart for Seville. Located in the Andalusian region of Spain, Seville is famous for its rich history and culture. Tour highlights include Plaza de España in Maria Luisa Park, Plaza de América, and the tomb of Christopher Columbus. We visit Seville Cathedral’s exterior — the third largest cathedral in the world; Híralda Minaret, the remains of the original mosque; Alcázar Palace (from outside), and Santa Cruz neighborhood, known for its narrow streets and historic charm. Next, we see Torre del Oro, a historic tower that once protected the city’s harbor. In the evening, guests can optionally attend a Flamenco Fire Performance for 55 Euros, experiencing the passionate dance and music that originated here. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
6th Day Seville – Ronda – Granada
After breakfast, we head to Granada. On the way, optional visit to Ronda, a mountainous town known for its deep gorge and Puente Nuevo bridge, built in the 18th century, and its historic bullring. Then, continue to Granada, famous for its history, stunning landscapes, and the Alhambra Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most iconic examples of Islamic architecture. The city tour includes Gran Via, Bib Rambla, Plaza Mayor, Granada Cathedral (from outside), Madraza University, Silk Market, and the historic Nasrid fortress. Guests may also choose to join an optional Alhambra Palace tour costing 70 Euros, subject to availability and visitor limits. The Alhambra, built starting in the 13th century on Sabika Hill, is Granada’s most visited monument with its intricate Islamic art and architecture. Transfer to the hotel for overnight.
7th Day Granada
After breakfast, free time for personal exploration. Guests can optionally join a tour of Cordoba for 55 Euros. Cordoba, a historic city in the Andalusian region, is famous for its impressive architecture and cultural heritage. Upon arrival, we cross the Roman bridge over the Guadalquivir River, enter the city through the Roman Gate, and visit the Great Mosque of Córdoba (Mezquita), with its 850 columns and arches. After the mosque tour, walk through the old streets, showcasing Andalusian architecture, and see historic houses and neighborhoods. In the evening, a guided tour of the Albaicín and Sacromonte neighborhoods, famous for their gypsy culture, caves, and lively atmosphere, is available for 45 Euros. The tour includes witnessing a traditional flamenco show and enjoying local refreshments. Return to the hotel for overnight.
8th Day Granada – Malaga – Istanbul
After breakfast, transfer to Malaga. Upon arrival, enjoy a city tour including Malaga Cathedral, botanical gardens, city hall, and port. After the tour, we transfer to Malaga Airport. Check-in, luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, then depart for Istanbul with Turkish Airlines flight TK 1306 at 18:00. Arrive in Istanbul at 23:25 on local time. End of the tour.
