1. DAY ISTANBUL – MADRID
Meeting with our valued guests in front of the Pegasus Airlines counter at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Departures terminal 3 hours before flight time. After baggage and ticket procedures, flight to Madrid with Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight. After our tour, we continue our way towards Madrid. We start our Panoramic Madrid city tour with the Plaza Mayor, a large square with 136 buildings and 437 balconies opening to the courtyard. In the past, bullfights and executions by the Inquisition were watched from these balconies. The heart of the city Puerta Del Sol, the grand square Plaza Mayor, the place where the Royal Palace addresses the public Plaza De Orient, the Alcala Gate built as the entrance gate to show how rich the city is, the Gran Via decorated with arcaded roofs, Plaza Colon, and Cibeles Square with the Cibeles Fountain and Cervantes Monument are among the places to be visited. 2. DAY MADRID
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish can join the extra Toledo Tour (80 Euro) that will be organized by our guide. Toledo is a true open-air museum and the former capital of Spain, one of the most important cities on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The country’s most majestic cathedral hosts works by world-renowned painters, rivaling some of the world’s most famous museums. Known as the city of El Greco, Toledo has managed to remain unchanged since the 16th century. The structures bearing traces of Roman, Visigoth, Arab, Gothic, and Renaissance architecture, narrow streets, El Greco’s paintings, typical pastry shops, Damascino stores, and of course, the famous cathedral make it a tourist pilgrimage site. Another tradition in Toledo is the production of marzipan dating back to the time of the Arab conquest. A visit to Toledo would not be complete without tasting this mouthwatering confection. After a walk in the Jewish quarter, we head back to Madrid. Accommodation at our hotel.
3. DAY MADRID – BARCELONA
After breakfast at the hotel, we will move towards Barcelona with our private bus. Guests who wish can join the extra Zaragoza Tour (35 Euro) that will be organized by our guide along the route. In our tour, we will see the Ebro River, the city’s central cathedral, the Pilar Cathedral, La Seo Cathedral, the San Pablo Church, Plaza Espana, and the Pilar Bridge. After our tour, we continue our journey. Upon arrival, we will have a Barcelona panoramic city tour. As the capital of the Autonomous Community of Catalonia and the second-largest city in Spain, with its remarkable works by famous architect Antoni Gaudi, Barcelona attracts four times as many tourists as its population. Among the places to be visited are the La Sagrada Familia, known as the “Endless Church,” Spain and Catalonia Square, Gaudi’s Houses (Casa Batllo and Casa Mila), Catalonia Square, La Rambla Street, and Port Olympica. After the city tour, transfer to the hotel. In the evening, guests who wish can join the extra Barcelona Night & Gothic Quarter Tour (35 Euro) that will be organized by our guide. In this tour, we will have the opportunity to see Barcelona in its illuminated state, known as the city that never sleeps in Europe. Afterwards, we will head to the Gothic Quarter, where we will visit Barcelona Cathedral, the Temple of Augustus, and the famous street of the area, Carrer del Bisbe, before having free time for dinner. Then transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
4. DAY BARCELONA
After breakfast, guests who wish can join the extra Girona & Figueras & Mercat de la Boqueria Tour (95 Euro) that will be organized by our guide. We start our tour in Girona, the richest city in the region, set on the banks of the Onyar River, which at first glance resembles Florence. Girona is a charming medieval city worth seeing with its narrow streets and cathedral; it is also where the film about perfume was shot. In our panoramic tour we will see the Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, Mezuzah houses, Jewish Quarter, Rambla, and the famous shops. After free time, we head towards Figueras with a view of the Pyrenees mountains. The town has such an impressive atmosphere that it has been a source of inspiration for the world-renowned painter Salvador Dali throughout his life. Here we will visit the museum house decorated by the famous surrealist painter "Salvador Dali" himself. After our visit to the museum, where each of his works is valued at millions of dollars, we will have free time. Then we will head to La Rambla Street in the city center. Our next stop is the Mercat de la Boqueria located on La Rambla, the most touristic street in Barcelona. Considered the most famous shopping spot in Spain, “mercat” means “market” and “marketplace” in Spanish, and is one of the most authentic places where you can experience the shopping culture and see the habits of the local people. We will have free time at this point. In the evening, guests who want to spend a fun evening can join the extra Flamenco Night (65 Euro). Accommodation at our hotel.
5. DAY BARCELONA – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, depending on the flight time, transfer to Barcelona Airport. After completing baggage and check-in procedures, departure to Istanbul with the scheduled flight of Pegasus Airlines. Arrival in Istanbul and end of our tour.
