After meeting at Istanbul Airport in the international departures check-in area, we complete our baggage and ticket procedures and begin our journey to London, England on Turkish Airlines’ scheduled flight. Upon arrival in London, we set off for a panoramic city tour. During our panoramic tour, the sights to be seen include The Tower, Tower Bridge, Hays Galleria, London Dungeon, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, the River Thames, Piccadilly Circus, Nelson’s Column, Trafalgar Square, the National Museum, the famous Harrods store, Knightsbridge, and the Natural History Museum. London - London Eye & Thames River Cruise & British MuseumAfter breakfast at the hotel, we head out for the London Eye & Thames River Cruise & British Museum tour. On this full-day tour, you will have the chance to ride the giant observation wheel located on the banks of the River Thames and enjoy the unique view of London, followed by a boat trip on the Thames River. During the boat tour, we will pass by London’s famous Parliament building, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and many other structures that have become symbols of London, giving us the opportunity to see London from the river. In the afternoon, we take a walking tour of Covent Garden, known as London’s entertainment center, with its restaurants, pubs, and shopping stores (London’s equivalent of Beyoğlu). On our walking tour in this city, regarded as the heart of academic heritage, the sights to be seen include the Bodleian Library, one of the largest library complexes in the world, the iconic Radcliffe Camera, and the historic college buildings where many famous names were educated. After following the traces of history through Oxford’s narrow, cobbled streets, we continue north by private vehicle to the Manchester / Liverpool region, known for starting England’s Industrial Revolution and today regarded as the heart of football. Manchester / Liverpool - Edinburgh - GlasgowAfter breakfast at the hotel, we leave Manchester by private vehicle and head north toward the Scottish border on a pleasant journey. Along the way, we enjoy the famous green countryside and rural landscapes of the United Kingdom as we arrive in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. On our panoramic tour of this city, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, we see the Royal Mile, extending through the heart of the city among historic buildings; St. Giles’ Cathedral, captivating with its Gothic architecture; and Princes Street, representing the modern face of the city. From there, we cross the cool waters of the Irish Sea by ferry to Dublin, the capital of the Republic of Ireland. After the sea journey, our panoramic city tour of Dublin begins. On our tour, the sights to be seen include the River Liffey, which flows through the middle of the city; Trinity College, Ireland’s oldest and most prestigious university; the lively O’Connell Street; and the Georgian houses famous for their colorful doors, which give the city its characteristic atmosphere.
