Cruise ships are equipped with the latest technology and can be likened to floating deluxe hotels. You can follow the daily activity program, which outlines the activities planned for each day, from the evening before you can find in the ship's newspaper distributed to your cabin. This bulletin contains all information about what will happen on the ship that day, including activities, weather forecast, ports to be visited, reservation contact information for special restaurants or spas, etc. The most common language on the ship is English. If you are in a guided Turkish program, our guide will support you with everything from ship bulletins to restaurant menus and prepare special bulletins for our esteemed guests.
At the time of boarding, you need to submit your luggage, passport, and credit card information (a deposit will be made for possible expenses) at the check-in desk located at the entrance of the ship. After the start of your trip, your passport will be given back only at the end of the trip. Once you submit your passport to the ship, you will receive a Boarding-Card from the ship. This card is used for your passport, the key to your cabin, and all transactions within the ship. The Boarding-Card displays various information such as your name, cabin number, meal session preferences, etc.
There is a dress code for passengers onboard. The ship hosts special events such as the captain’s welcome dinner and gala night, so it is recommended to bring elegant and formal clothes. You can follow these events and other special activities initially announced in the ship’s newspaper. Additionally, the dress code is also specified in the bulletin.
There are buffet-style restaurants available 20 hours a day where you can eat anything you want at any time. In addition to the main restaurant included in your fare for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, there are fast food points and open buffets. Also, there are exclusive themed restaurants such as Thai restaurant, Steakhouse, etc. You can make reservations in advance for these restaurants to enjoy special dishes prepared by expert chefs. Thematic restaurants are subject to extra charges.
There are many facilities and activities onboard for families with children. The ship has children's pools and play clubs where kids can spend their time.
Cruise ships are designed by engineers to prevent rocking during travel, and the ship captains are specially trained. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas including cabins. No signs prohibit smoking on open decks, so you can smoke where ashtrays are located. There are doctors and nurses on board. Disabled cabins are available on the ships.
