1. DAY ISTANBUL – SEVILLE
Meeting with our valued guests 3 hours before the flight time at the Pegasus Airlines counter in the international departures terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport. After baggage and ticket procedures, flight to Seville on Pegasus Airlines scheduled service. Upon arrival, a panoramic Seville city tour. In this city founded on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, we will have a panoramic view of Plaza de España, the tobacco factory where Carmen took place, the Golden Tower, and the Jewish Quarter. We complete our city tour with free time in front of Seville Cathedral. Guests who wish to spend the evening in an entertaining atmosphere may join the optional Flamenco Night (65 EUR per person).
2. DAY SEVILLE
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the Granada & Alhambra Palace & Ronda Tour, organized as an extra by our guide (110 EUR per person). [The Alhambra Palace tour will be carried out depending on the palace’s availability.] Our first stop is Granada. Sights to be seen on the Granada city tour include Bib Lambra Square, the Christopher Columbus Monument, City Hall, and the Cathedral (from outside). After the tour, we continue to the Alhambra Palace. The Alhambra accepts a limited number of visitors daily. It was named “Alhambra,” meaning “the Red,” because of the red bricks on its walls and red tiles on its roof. As a witness that has survived to the present day as one of the highest points reached by Islamic architecture, after visiting the Alhambra Palace we begin our return journey to Seville, with our last stop along the route being Ronda. On this tour, we will visit Ronda, which is considered one of the most interesting settlements in Spain in terms of geography and one of the most beautiful towns in the country with its preserved historical fabric. In Ronda, where the first bullfights were held, the Historic Roman Bridge and Spain’s oldest arena and museum are among the places to be seen. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. 3. DAY SEVILLE – LISBON
After breakfast, we set out for Lisbon. Upon arrival, panoramic Lisbon city tour. On our tour, sights to be seen include Eduardo VII Park, Rossio Street, the famous Liberdade Square, the Tagus River, São Jorge Castle, Alfama District, Alcantara District, the Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries in Belém, and Jerónimos Monastery, where farewell ceremonies were held for the explorers. Then transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
4. DAY LISBON
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the Sintra & Cascais & Estoril & Cabo da Roca Tour, organized as an extra (85 EUR per person). After viewing the Sintra Royal Palace, the most important summer palace of the Portuguese monarchy, from the outside, the old fishing neighborhoods of the towns, and the resort areas of Cascais and Estoril, are among the places to be seen. Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the European continent, is our last stop. Free time after the tour. Guests who wish may join the Fado Night, organized as an optional activity by our guide (70 EUR per person). Overnight at our hotel.
5. DAY LISBON – PORTO
After breakfast, we set off for Porto. Guests who wish may join the Fatima & Nazare & Obidos Tour, organized as a route extra by our guide (60 EUR per person). Our first stop is Fatima. This place, where the Virgin Mary appeared to three little shepherd children in 1917 and gave them three secrets, is considered one of the largest pilgrimage and worship centers of Christianity. After Fatima, we head toward the coast and make our way to the fishing town of Nazare, famous for its beaches. It is hard not to be impressed by the Nazare cliffs, where the famous explorer Vasco da Gama used to come to pray before setting off on long sea voyages. Afterwards, we visit the medieval heritage town of Obidos, which still has 12th-century walls standing and has preserved its historical character, and then continue to Porto. Upon arrival, panoramic Porto city tour. On our tour, sights to be seen include the Ribeira district overlooking the Douro River, historic buildings, Bolsa Palace, the Cathedral (Porto Cathedral), House of the Prince, São Francisco Church, São Bento train station, Ponte de Luís I Bridge, and the Douro River. 6. DAY PORTO – MADRID
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to Madrid. However, before that, guests who wish may join the Salamanca Tour, organized as an extra en route by our guide (35 EUR per person). During the tour in Salamanca, located on the banks of the Tormes River, Plaza Mayor, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and the historic Monterrey Palace are among the places to be seen. After the tour, we continue our journey to Porto. Upon arrival, panoramic Madrid city tour. We begin with the large square called Plaza Mayor. This square has 136 buildings and 437 balconies overlooking courtyards. In the past, bullfights and people burned by the Inquisition were watched from these balconies. The heart of the city, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace’s public address point Plaza de Oriente, Alcalá Gate, built as an entrance gate to show the city’s wealth, Gran Via with its gallery roofs, Plaza Colon, Cibeles Square and Fountain, and the Cervantes Monument are among the places to be seen. 7. DAY MADRID
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the Segovia & Avila & Outlet Tour, organized as an extra (90 EUR). On this tour, we will visit the UNESCO World Heritage cities of Segovia and Ávila. After passing through the 11th-century walls, we will visit Ávila’s old town, see the cathedral from outside and San Vicente Basilica, Plaza Mayor, and the interior of the Birthplace of Santa Teresa de Jesús. After the tour, we head to Segovia. We will see the enormous Roman aqueduct, the exterior of Segovia Cathedral, Plaza Mayor, and Segovia Alcázar, a magnificent castle that evokes the fairy-tale castle of Snow White. After the tour, we go to Las Rozas Village, known as the largest outlet in the region. After free time for shopping here, we return to our hotel in Madrid. Overnight at our hotel.
8. DAY MADRID – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, transfer to Madrid Airport depending on the flight time. After completing baggage and check-in procedures, depart for Istanbul on Pegasus Airlines scheduled service. Arrival in Istanbul and end of the tour.
