After arriving in Baku at 10:30 local time, we complete our passport and customs procedures and begin our panoramic Baku city tour with our private vehicle waiting for us. During our city tour, we see the Haydar Aliyev Center, notable for its modern architecture, panoramically, and then make short photo stops at Flag Square and Baku Boulevard. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel, complete our check-in procedures, and settle into our rooms. In the evening, guests who wish may join the Baku Old Town Evening Tour and Azerbaijan Night program, organized as an extra by our guide. Overnight at our hotel.
Extra Tour: Baku Old Town Evening Tour and Azerbaijan Night – 80 Euros Per Person
Departing from our hotel in the evening, we head to Icheri Sheher (Old Town), the historic heart of Baku. On our walking tour in this unique area, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, we have the opportunity to closely see narrow stone streets, historic caravanserais, and medieval architecture. During our tour, we see the Maiden Tower, the Shirvanshahs’ Palace, and the historic city walls panoramically, and learn about Baku’s historical and cultural fabric with the explanations of our guide. After photo stops, we visit Nizami (Targovi) Street, which resembles Istanbul’s Istiklal Avenue. Targovi, one of the city’s liveliest and most popular areas, is the center of Baku’s social life with its shops, boutique stores, cafes, and restaurants. With its elegant buildings reflecting 19th-century European architecture and its lively atmosphere, it is an ideal place for both shopping and pleasant walks. Among street performers and brightly lit shop windows, we have the opportunity to closely discover Baku’s modern face. Afterwards, we proceed to Highland Park, one of Baku’s most beautiful viewpoints. Here, after seeing the Martyrs’ Lane, the Turkish Cemetery, and the Flame Towers, we take unforgettable photos while observing the Caspian Sea, Baku Boulevard, and the city’s modern silhouette panoramically. In the continuation of our program, we experience Azerbaijan Night in a traditional restaurant where you can taste selected flavors of Azerbaijani cuisine and enjoy pleasant time accompanied by live music. Blended with traditional rhythms, local flavors, and Baku’s enchanting night atmosphere, this program will be one of the most unforgettable moments of your trip. Transfer to our hotel at the end of the program.
Day 2: Baku
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, free time. Guests who wish may join the Absheron Peninsula Tour, organized as an extra by our guide. After our tour, guests who desire may join the Caspian Sea Boat Tour. Transfer to our hotel at the end of the program. Overnight at our hotel.
Extra Tour: Absheron Peninsula Tour – 70 Euros Per Person
We begin our tour with the Absheron Peninsula. Our first stop is the Ateshgah Temple, one of the three Zoroastrian temples in the world. This sacred structure, which has historically been regarded as a pilgrimage center for followers of the Zoroastrian faith, fascinates visitors with its impressive architecture, spacious courtyard, and mystical atmosphere. Then we visit Yanar Dag, one of the most interesting natural formations in Azerbaijan, which Marco Polo called the "Land of Fire." We closely see the fires that have been burning for centuries due to natural gas escaping from underground, take unique photos, and experience firsthand why Azerbaijan is called the "Land of Fire." This tour, where nature, history, and legends meet, is one of Azerbaijan’s most impressive experiences.
Extra Tour: Caspian Sea Boat Tour – 50 Euros Per Person
On the enjoyable boat tour we will take on the Caspian Sea, the jewel of Azerbaijan, we discover the city’s modern silhouette from the sea.
Accompanied by the Flame Towers, the Coastal Boulevard, modern Baku architecture, and the deep blue view of the Caspian, this trip offers our guests both a relaxing and uniquely photogenic experience. This tour, blending with the city lights, is one of the indispensable activities of a visit to Baku.
Day 3: Baku
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, free time.
Guests who wish may join the Gobustan, Mud Volcanoes and Haydar Aliyev Cultural Center Tour, organized as an extra by our guide. Return to our hotel after the tour. Overnight at our hotel.
Extra Tour: Gobustan & Haydar Aliyev Cultural Center Tour – 90 Euros Per Person
Our first stop is Gobustan National Park, located about 60 km south of Baku and included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Then we move on to the Mud Volcanoes area, one of Azerbaijan’s world-famous geological treasures. Since 300 of the approximately 700 mud volcanoes in the world are located in Azerbaijan, the country is one of the regions where this natural wonder is seen most densely. In fact, geologists working on Mars at NASA note that the formations in the area resemble some regions on the Martian surface. In the area where the volcanoes are located, we closely observe the hot mud outlets and gas bubbles, and receive detailed information from our guide about the formation, geological structure, and historical importance of the region. After our Gobustan visit, we turn our route to the Haydar Aliyev Cultural Center, a symbol of modern Azerbaijan. Designed by the world-famous architect Zaha Hadid, this unique structure is one of Baku’s most important symbols with its fluid architecture. Inside the center, there are not only cultural and artistic exhibitions, but also a classic car collection that attracts great interest from visitors. You can closely see and photograph carefully restored Soviet classic cars spanning from the 1940s to the 1970s, rare models such as Volga, Moskvich, and Chaika from the USSR era, official state vehicles used in the State protocol, and high-value vintage cars. This section offers a very impressive experience for classic car enthusiasts and nostalgia lovers.
