Tour Program
Day 1 Istanbul – Tirana – Elbasan – Ohrid
Meeting at Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport International Departure Terminal…. After ticket, luggage, and passport procedures, we will depart for Tirana with Ajet Airlines Flight No. VF367 at 07:10. Arriving in Tirana at 07:55 local time. After passport, luggage, and customs procedures, we will head to the capital Tirana city center with our private buses. A panoramic tour will take place introducing this beautiful city, which has experienced wars throughout the 20th century and endured Enver Hoxha's dictatorship for 40 years, founded in 1614 by Suleyman Pasha and became the capital of Albania in 1920. During our tour, we will see Skanderbeg Square, the Et'hem Bey Mosque, the Historical Clock Tower, the National History Museum, and the Opera House. Some of the places we will view from the vehicle include the Parliament and Prime Minister's offices, the Presidential Palace, Mother Teresa Square, and the Tirana Pyramid. Following our Tirana tour, we will have free time. Afterwards, we will arrive in Ohrid, a Mediterranean town in the Balkans, through Elbasan, beginning our tour of Ohrid city at the Port square, discussing the statues we see in the square while taking a walk in the neighborhood where the historical Ohrid houses, the Ayasofya church, and the famous Ohrid Pearl presentation, which is a symbol of the Ohrid city, are located. We will end the tour with free time in Ohrid. We will then transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 Ohrid – Sveti Naum – Resne – Bitola (Monastir) – Skopje
After breakfast, we will first arrive at St. Naum with magnificent views in approximately 1 hour. We will see the source of the Black Drin where Ohrid Lake originates. The fantastic view here is bound to take your breath away. Following this, we will move on to Resne. Here, we will visit the palace of Resneli Niyazi, one of the most famous figures of the Committee of Union and Progress, who became famous for his contributions during the Greek-Turkish War, and we will arrive in Bitola. During our visit to Monastir (Bitola); we will visit Magnolya Square, the Clock Tower, the New Mosque, the Bazaar, the İshak Pasha Mosque, and experience the most emotional moments of the tour at Atatürk’s Military Academy, where Atatürk graduated, and visit the Atatürk Museum. Following our visit, we will continue on our journey to the capital Skopje and begin our city tour. Beginning with the Macedonian side, which can be described as a land of statues, we will first see the towering statue of Alexander the Great, then proceed onto the historic Skopje Stone Bridge, where we will witness how cultures change as we cross over the Vardar River and enter the Skopje Turkish Bazaar, one of the best Ottoman bazaars in the Balkans. We will start our bazaar tour by addressing the statues at the entrance, followed by visiting the historical Davut Pasha bath, continuing with the Kapan Han, one of the most important structures in the Ottoman bazaar organization, and the Murat Pasha Mosque, which has survived earthquakes. Afterwards, one hour of free time will be given for shopping at the Turkish Bazaar. Among the things you can buy are Shushka pepper, Ustrumca peanuts, and traditional shoes. Following the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and settle into our rooms. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 Skopje – Matka Canyon – Kosovo (Prizren) – Skopje (Balkan Night)
After breakfast at our hotel, we will proceed to the Matka Canyon, renowned for its unique beauty. After a pleasant walk where we’ll take stunning photos during free time, we will gather in our vehicle and head to the Osmanlı Mansion from the 19th century located near the capital of Kosovo, Pristina, and visit the tomb of I. Murad (Hüdavendigar), who was martyred by Obilic during the Kosovo Battle, one of the greatest victories of the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans. Following our visit, after an approximately 100 km journey, we will arrive in Prizren, considered one of the most charming cities in the Balkans, perched along the Bistrica (Akdere) River. During our panoramic tour of this charming city, we will visit the 17th-century Turkish Hamam, the Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and the Prizren Fortress. After the tour ends, we will have free time followed by a return to Skopje. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 Skopje – Belgrade
After breakfast, we will depart for Belgrade. Following our journey, we will start our city tour at Knez Mihailova street, which is the most elegant street in the city, a symbol of vibrancy and liveliness in one of Europe’s oldest cities. Then we will move to the Belgrade Fortress, for which Fatih Sultan Mehmed was injured but whose conquest was afforded to Kanuni Sultan Suleiman, one of the supply centers of the Ottoman navy. Within the fortress, we will see the Key Delivery Monument, the French statue, the Istanbul Gate, the Military Museum, the Damat Ali Pasha tomb, the Sokullu fountain and end our tour at the viewing terrace where we will see the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers, the most beautiful view in the city. Following the tour, we will have free time. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 Belgrade – Sarajevo
After breakfast at our hotel, we will head to Sarajevo. While progressing along the mountainous Balkan roads, we will see stunning views. After our arrival, we will commence our panoramic city tour. We will stroll in Başçarşı, the most distinguished bazaar of Europe. Our tour, introducing this cultural city, will start with Sarajevo Sebil Fountain, the symbol of the city, and will continue with Morica Han, one of the most authentic spots of the city. Next, we will visit Hüsrev Bey Mosque, a relative of Kanuni Sultan Süleyman. During our tour, we will see the Clock Tower, the famous fountain that has become a ritual, and the meeting point of cultures, which is also the location of the Eternal Flame monument. Following the tours, we will have free time, and guests may take photos of the Latin Bridge, where World War I sparked. After the tour and free time, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 Sarajevo – Konjic – Mostar – Blagaj – Trebinje
After having breakfast at our hotel, we will be heading towards Mostar with beautiful views within the ecosystem of the Neretva River.We will take a short break at Konjic, known as a place where horses rested, as mentioned in Evliya Çelebi’s Travelogue, before continuing our journey. We will see and photograph the Konjic Bridge built by IV. Mehmed before continuing on our way via Jablanica. The journey will present us opportunities to witness the most beautiful nature views that the Neretva River has to offer. Upon arrival in Mostar, we will walk through the city and first see the Mostar Bridge. (Built by Architect Hayreddin in 1557, the bridge is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture.) The bridge was destroyed in the war that occurred in 1992 by Croatian artillery, however, with the major contributions of the Republic of Turkey, it was reopened in 2004. We will explore the old town bazaar. After the free time, we will move towards Blagaj.After a short trip, we will arrive at Blagaj, where we will descend from the parking area to walk, and after that, we will have free time in the area where the Buna River springs, where Alperenler Tekke is located. Those who wish may visit the Tekke, while others can take the best photos of the Tekke from the outside. After our visits, we will transfer to our hotel. Depending on the occupancy, we will be staying in Trebinje or surrounding areas such as Medjugorje or Blagaj. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 Trebinje – Kotor – Budva – Shkodra - Tirana
After our breakfast at the hotel, we will cross into the world's youngest country, Montenegro. Our first stop will be Kotor, an important historical and natural gem as well as a tourist attraction. During our walking tour in Stari Grad (Old Town - Fortress), we will get to know this charming city. We will visit notable historical landmarks including Arsenal Square, the Clock Tower, the Shame Monument, the Government Palace, the Guardian Tower, St. Tryphon's Church and Square, Kalambaka (Tulumba) Square, and St. Luke and Nicholas Churches before we take free time. Following our free time, we will pass through Budva, where we can view the magnificent St. Stefan from above, an island that was once a fishermen's settlement and was resurrected through restoration efforts. Then we will proceed to the Albanian town of Shkodra. After Shkodra, we will arrive in Tirana and transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
