Tour Program
Day 1 Istanbul – Niš-Skopje
Meeting at the Air Serbia counter at Istanbul Airport International Departure Terminal at 14:00. After the ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we will leave for Niš at 17:00 with Air Serbia flight JU1805. We will arrive in Niš at 17:25 local time. After baggage, passport, and customs procedures, we will start our tour in the city of Niš, one of the oldest cities in history, where the founder of Istanbul, Emperor Constantine, was born and is also the third largest city in Serbia. After a panoramic city tour, we will move to the capital of Northern Macedonia, Skopje. After arriving in Skopje, we will have a short panoramic tour before heading to our hotel. Overnight - SKOPJE

Day 2 Skopje – Kosovo (Prizren) – Skopje (Balkan Night)
After breakfast, we depart for Kosovo tour, which has a population mostly consisting of Muslim Albanians, for a visit. We will visit the Ottoman mansion from the 19th century, which is located near the capital of Kosovo, Pristina, and the tomb of I. Murad (Hüdavendigar), who was martyred by Obilic in the Kosovo Field Battle, one of the biggest victories of the Ottomans in the Balkans. After this visit, we head to Prizren. During our panoramic tour in Prizren, one of the prettiest cities in the Balkans, we will see the Turkish Bath from the 17th century, the Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and the Prizren Fortress. After the tour ends, we will have some free time. After the tour, we will head back to Skopje, the capital of Macedonia.
Upon our arrival in Skopje, we will start a tour of this city where two different cultures are separated by the famous Vardar River. We will initially see the grand statue of Alexander the Great among other statues. After passing through the Historical Stone Bridge built over the Vardar River, we will experience a moment witnessing how cultures change, as we walk through the Skopje Turkish Bazaar, one of the most qualified bazaars of the Ottomans in the Balkans. We will start our tour at the Turkish Bazaar with the Davut Pasha Bath, then see the Kapan Han, one of the most important structures of the Ottoman bazaar organization, and the Mosque of Murat Pasha, which has survived despite earthquakes. After our visits, we will have one hour of free time for shopping in the Turkish Bazaar. Some items we can buy include Shushka pepper, Ustrumca peanuts, and Çarık shoes. After the tour, we will have a Balkan night at a local restaurant determined by our guide, included in the tour price. After the entertainment, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 Skopje – Matka Canyon – Tetovo (Kalkandelen) – Ohrid
After breakfast, we head to Matka Canyon, known for its unique beauty, and after a nature walk, guests who wish can take a canyon tour on the famous boats of the canyon during free time. After our tour, we will move to Tetovo, the second largest city in Macedonia, predominantly inhabited by Muslim Albanians. After a panoramic view of the city, we will visit the Alaca Mosque, which has a rare architecture found in the Balkans, after which we will pass through the Mavrovo mountains to reach Ohrid, the pearl of the Balkans. After our arrival, we will start our city tour of Ohrid, which is named after Lake Ohrid, one of the largest lakes in the Balkans, and is a Mediterranean-style town in the Balkans. We will begin our tour at the port square, discussing the statues we see there, and we will enjoy a walk in the neighborhood where the historical Ohrid houses, where the “Elveda Rumeli” series was filmed, are located, visiting the historical Ottoman houses, Hagia Sophia Church, and presenting the famous Ohrid Pearl, which is the greatest symbol of the city. After free time, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 Ohrid - St Naum - Elbasan-Tirana-Shkodra
After breakfast at our hotel, we will depart for St. Naum. Arriving at St. Naum with a journey of about 1 hour surrounded by magnificent landscapes, we will visit the source of Lake Ohrid. The breathtaking view here will take your breath away. Then, we will cross the city of Elbasan to head to the capital Tirana. We will have a panoramic tour of this beautiful city, which has experienced wars throughout the 20th century and lived under the dictatorship of Enver Hoxha for 40 years, and which was established by Suleiman Pasha in 1614 and became the capital of Albania in 1920. During our tour, we will see places such as the Ethem Bey Mosque, the historic Clock Tower, the National Museum, the Opera and Ballet House, the Parliament and Prime Minister’s Offices, the Presidential Palace, Mother Teresa Statue and Skanderbeg Square. After our Tirana tour, we will have some free time. We will then reach the city of Shkodra and check into our hotel. ISKODRA

Day 5 Shkodra – St. Stefan – Budva – Kotor - Trebinje (Medjugorje)
After breakfast at our hotel, we will pass through to Montenegro, one of the youngest countries in the world. Our first stop will be the panoramic view of St. Stefan, which has transformed from a settlement area for fishermen to a vacation spot for the jet set after being sold to a millionaire from Singapore. We will continue along the magnificent coastal roads of the Adriatic after seeing Budva panoramically, and then we will move on to Kotor, an important historical and natural paradise as well as a tourist attraction. In Kotor, we will walk through Stari Grad (Old Town-Castle) for a tour of this charming town. After our Kotor tour, we will head to the city where we will be staying for the night. Overnight will be in Medjugorje, Trebinje, or the surrounding area. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 Medjugorje – Mostar – Blagaj - Konjic – Sarajevo
After breakfast at our hotel, we will move towards the historic town of Mostar. Upon arriving in Mostar, our walk around the city will begin with a visit to the Mostar Bridge (a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture, built by Architect Hayreddin in 1557). The bridge was destroyed by Croatian artillery during the war in 1992, but was reopened in 2004 thanks to significant contributions from the Republic of Turkey. We will stroll through the Old Town market and have free time afterward before continuing to Blagaj, the land of the Alperens. After our visit to Blagaj, we will head to the capital Sarajevo. We will take a break in the town of Konjic to see the famous Konjic Bridge, which has survived from the Ottoman period to the present day, and enjoy coffee by the Neretva River. After our break, we will reach the capital city of Sarajevo. We will stroll through Baščaršija, the most distinguished market in Europe. Our tour that introduces this cultural city will begin with the Sarajevo Sebil Fountain, which has virtually become a symbol of the city. We will then visit the Morica Han, one of the most authentic points in the city. Our tour continues with a visit to the Hüsrev Bey Mosque, a relative of Suleiman the Magnificent. We will then see the Clock Tower, the famous fountain that has become a ritual, and the point where cultures converge; this street also contains the Igniting Flame monument, which has become a symbol. Afterward, we will have some free time; participants may take photos of the Latin Bridge, where World War I broke out during this free time. A Bosnian meatball dinner at a local restaurant is included in the tour price. After our tour and free time, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 Sarajevo-Belgrade
After breakfast, we will depart for Belgrade. After our journey, we will start our city tour of Belgrade, one of Europe’s oldest cities, with a stroll along the most stylish street, Knez Mihailova Street. Then we will move to the Belgrade Fortress, which was the center of supply for the Ottoman navy, where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was wounded but the conquest was granted to Kanuni Sultan Süleyman. Inside the fortress, we will see the Key Monument, French Statue, Istanbul Gate, Military Museum, Damat Ali Pasha Tomb, Sokollu Fountain, and the terrace area with the most beautiful view where the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers can be seen. After our tour, we will have some free time. We will spend the night at our hotel in Belgrade.
