Tour Program
Day 1 Istanbul – Belgrade – Srebrenica - Sarajevo
Meeting at Air Serbia Counter at Istanbul Airport International Departure Terminal. After ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we depart to Belgrade at 04:20 with Air Serbia Airlines Flight JU427. Arrival in Belgrade at 05:00 local time. After baggage, passport, and customs procedures, we depart from Belgrade airport with our private vehicle. Our first destination is Srebrenica located in the east of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We visit Srebrenica, the site of the massacre that occurred on July 11, 1995, to commemorate. Here we visit the camp where innocent Bosnian people were held and the memorial site to pay our respects. Afterwards, we head to the capital Sarajevo. We stroll through Europe’s most notable bazaar, Baščaršija. Our tour, which introduces this cultural city, begins with the Sebilj Fountain, which has become a symbol of the bazaar, followed by seeing Morica Han, one of the most authentic points of the city. Then we visit the mosque of Hüsrev Bey, a relative of Suleiman the Magnificent. During the continuation of our tour, we see the Clock Tower, the famous fountain, and the meeting point of cultures; this avenue is also home to the Eternal Flame monument which has become a symbol, then we proceed to free time, where guests may take pictures of the Latin Bridge, where World War I broke out. Transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 Sarajevo – Vrelo Bosna - Konjic – Mostar – Blagaj – Medjugorje
After breakfast, we visit Vrelo Bosne, Sarajevo’s biggest national park, located on the foothills of Mt. Igman, home to the source of the Bosna River, which was organized by Tito in the past and is famous for its perfect hiking trails, horse-drawn carriages, and authentic cafes. After our free time, we proceed to Mostar. Our journey to Mostar will take approximately 2.5 hours with a few stops along the way. We take our first break in the city of Konjic (Konyitz) to see the famous Konjic Bridge, which has been restored by Turkey, for a coffee break on the banks of the Neretva River. After that, we arrive at Mostar, where we will take a walking tour of the city, starting with seeing the Mostar Bridge, built in 1557 by Mimar Hayreddin, which is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture. The bridge was destroyed by Croatian artillery during the war in 1992, but it was reopened in 2004 with significant contributions from the Republic of Turkey. We will see the Koska Mehmet Pasha Mosque. Afterwards, we visit the Blagaj Alperenler Lodge and Buna River spring, located 12 km from downtown Mostar. After our tour, (overnight in Medjugorje or surroundings).

Day 3 Medjugorje – Kotor – Budva - Shkodra
After breakfast at our hotel, we cross into Montenegro, one of the world’s youngest states. Our first stop is Kotor, an important historical and natural paradise and tourist attraction… Here, you will get to know this charming town during a walking tour in the Old Town (Stari Grad - Fortress). After our Kotor tour, we will pass through Budva, a former fishing settlement turned into a tourist mecca after being bought by a Singaporean billionaire for renovation, and a panoramic view of the magnificent St. Stefan and Budva. After a break, we move to the Albanian city of Shkodra. After arrival, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 Shkodra - Tirana – Ohrid
After breakfast at our hotel, we head to the city center of Tirana. We will have a panoramic tour introducing this beautiful city that underwent wars in the 20th century and lived under Enver Hoxha's dictatorship for 40 years, established by Süleyman Pasha in 1614, and became the capital of Albania in 1920. During our tour, we will see Ethem Bey Mosque, the Historical Clock Tower, the National History Museum, and the Opera House in Skanderbeg Square. Some of the places we will see from our vehicle include the Parliament and Prime Minister's buildings, the Presidential Palace, Mother Teresa Square, and the Tirana Pyramid. After our Tirana tour and free time, we will move towards Ohrid, known as the pearl of the Balkans, through Elbasan. Our tour of Ohrid begins with the Port Square, where we will talk about the statues we see, followed by a walk in the neighborhood where the historical Ohrid houses, used in the shooting of the TV series Elveda Rumeli, are located, viewing the historical Ottoman houses, Ayasofya Church, and concluding with a presentation of the famous Ohrid Pearl symbolizing the city. After our tour, we proceed to free time. After our tours, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our Ohrid hotel.

Day 5 Ohrid – St. Naum – Tetova (Kalkandelen) – Skopje
After having our breakfast, we will travel to St. Naum with breathtaking views. We will visit the source of Lake Ohrid. The stunning scenery here will take your breath away. After our visit to Sveti Naum, we move to Tetova, Makedonia’s second-largest city, predominantly populated by Muslim Albanians. We will see the city from a panoramic perspective and visit the Alaca Mosque, which has a rare architecture found in the Balkans. After our tour, we will move to the capital of Macedonia, Skopje. We will begin our city tour, where two different cultures are separated by the famous Vardar River, focusing on the Macedonian side, starting with the giant statue of Alexander the Great among other sculptures we will see, then passing over the Historical Stone Bridge of Skopje, which connects the two sides, and witness how cultures change so rapidly as we pass to the Old Bazaar (Turkish Bazaar). We’ll begin our bazaar tour at the entrance, discussing the statues. Following this, we will see the historical Davut Pasha Hammam, Kapan Han, and Murat Pasha Mosque, which has managed to survive despite all the earthquakes. After visiting, guests will enjoy one hour of free time shopping in the Turkish Bazaar. Shushka pepper, Ustrumca peanuts, and chariks will be among the things we can purchase. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 Skopje – Matka Canyon – Prizren (Kosovo) – Skopje (Balkan Night)
After our breakfast, we head to the breathtaking Matka Canyon, where we will take a nature walk and afterwards, guests who wish can take a boat trip in the famous canyon during their free time. After our tour, we will travel to Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, predominantly populated by Muslim Albanians, and visit Kosovo Field, where one of the greatest victories of the Ottoman Empire was won, the tomb of I. Murad (Hüdavendigar), who was martyred by Obilic. After our visit, we will make a short bus ride to Prizren. Prizren is perhaps one of the most charming cities in the Balkans, and during our panoramic tour, we will visit the Turkish Bath dating back to the 17th century, the Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and Prizren Fortress. After our tour, guests will have free time. After our tour, we will return to Skopje, the capital of Macedonia. Upon arrival in Skopje, we will enjoy a Balkan night at a local restaurant designated by our guide, included in the tour price. After the entertainment, we will transfer to our hotel. Day 7 Skopje – Belgrade – Istanbul
After breakfast, we set off for Belgrade. After the journey, we will start our city tour in Belgrade, which is the new symbol of liveliness and activity, one of the oldest cities in Europe, starting from Knez Mihailova Street, the city’s most elegant street. Then we proceed to Serbian Castle, where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was wounded for whom the conquest was destined for Kanuni Sultan Suleiman, we will see the Key Delivery Monument, the French statue, the Istanbul Gate, the Military Museum, the Tomb of Damat Ali Pasha, Sokullu Fountain, and the terrace that has the most beautiful view of the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers. We will conclude our tour after the tour. After our tour, we will have free time until the flight time. Afterwards, we will transfer to Belgrade airport.
