01. DAY: ISTANBUL AIRPORT – NAPLES – POMPEII AND CITY TOUR We meet you, our valued guests, at 04:00 in front of the THY international flights F counters (counters numbered 1–27) by entering through Gate 3 at Istanbul Airport for check-in procedures. Departure for Naples at 06:55 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1453. Arrival in Naples at 08:20 local time. We head to Pompeii with our waiting vehicle. Once one of the largest cities in the Mediterranean during the Roman Empire, Pompeii was buried under the ashes of Mount Vesuvius and has become one of the world’s largest open-air museums thanks to excavation work carried out for more than two centuries. In Pompeii, where many Roman-era structures can still be seen intact, you will walk through its streets and have the chance to get to know the civilization of the era and see human remains left under the ashes of Vesuvius. After the tour, we proceed to the city center of Naples. During the panoramic tour by bus in Naples, a typical Mediterranean city built on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, the birthplace of Neapolitan songs and Italian pizza, the elite district of the city, the house of Enrico Caruso, a photo stop on Vomero Hill, the Royal Palace, and the Santa Lucia coastline are among the places to be seen. At the end of the tour, transfer to our Naples hotel and overnight at the hotel. 02. DAY: SORRENTO - CAPRI After breakfast, we start our full-day excursion at the time previously announced by our guide. Sorrento is the city of colors, the homeland of mermaids, and the city of lemon trees and oranges, where the poet Torquato Tasso was born. Having also hosted the famous Soviet writer Maxim Gorky in the 1920s, Sorrento is a charming southern town where goodness and hospitality come together and are passed down from generation to generation. After our Sorrento tour, we head to Capri. Following the fast ferry ride, we arrive on Capri Island. Places to visit in Capri: Capri town above the harbor, Anacapri town at the very top of the hill, Augustus Gardens, and the shopping street. Those who wish may take the cable car from Anacapri to the highest point of the island and enjoy a magnificent view. At the end of the tour, return to our Naples hotel and overnight at the hotel. 03. DAY: POSITANO - AMALFI After breakfast, we start our full-day excursion at the time previously announced by our guide. In the Costiera Amalfitana, known as one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world, we first visit Positano and then the Amalfi coast by bus. Amalfi, the capital of the Amalfi Maritime Republic, was an important commercial center between 800 and 1200. Located in the Gulf of Salerno, 35 km south of Naples, Amalfi was a popular destination for British aristocrats and wealthy people in the 1920s and 1930s. Today, together with Positano, Ravello, and the other towns along the coast, it is an important tourist destination. At the end of the tour, return to our Naples hotel and overnight at the hotel. 04. DAY: NAPLES - ISTANBUL After breakfast, we complete our check-out procedures and transfer to the airport at the time specified by our guide. After ticketing and baggage procedures, departure from Naples to Istanbul at 19:25 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1880. Arrival in Istanbul at 23:50 and end of the tour.
