Istanbul - Hong Kong We meet at Istanbul Airport International Terminal. After ticketing and baggage procedures, we take our flight to Hong Kong with Turkish Airlines. Overnight on board. Hong Kong After arriving in Hong Kong early in the morning, we will begin our tour without delay. We start with panoramic views of the city and harbor from the observation deck of Victoria Peak. Repulse Bay’s tropical beaches and the traditional sampan boats of Aberdeen Fisherman’s Village are among the sights to see. Then we tour the shopping streets and colorful local markets of the Kowloon district. Walking along Avenue of Stars, we get to know the names that left their mark on Hong Kong cinema. Next, we visit Wong Tai Sin Temple. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. Hong Kong - Macau - Hong Kong After breakfast at our hotel, we will have a full day at leisure. Guests who wish may join the optional Macau tour organized by our guide (100 USD). We transfer to Macau via the 55 km-long Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge, the world’s longest sea bridge. Upon arrival, we will visit Macau. Our first stop is Senado Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its wavy patterned cobblestone pavement and pastel-colored buildings from the Portuguese colonial period. Next, we visit the Ruins of St. Paul’s, the city’s symbol, of which only the magnificent façade remains today. We then continue to A-Ma Temple, dedicated to Mazu, the sea goddess after whom the city is named, notable for its incense-filled atmosphere and traditional architecture. Finally, we see Guia Fortress and Lighthouse, built in the 17th century, and witness the city’s military heritage from the colonial era. At the end of the tour, we transfer back to our hotel in Hong Kong and have free time. Overnight at the hotel. Hong Kong - Osaka After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we transfer to Hong Kong Airport. Upon arrival, we take our local airline flight to Osaka. After arrival, we begin our city tour. Osaka is traditionally regarded as “The Nation’s Kitchen” or the culinary capital of Japan. On our city tour in Osaka, we first visit Osaka Castle, built in the 16th century and one of the finest examples of Japanese architecture. Then we head to Shinsaibashi, the city’s central district. In Shinsaibashi’s Dotonbori area, we have free time and the opportunity to explore the culinary delights of this city, considered a paradise for shopping and dining. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Osaka. Overnight at the hotel. Osaka After breakfast at our hotel, the day is at leisure. Guests who wish may join the optional Nara & Kobe tour organized by our guide (195 USD). We will take a full-day tour of Nara and Kobe. First, we go to Nara, one of Japan’s former capitals and the cradle of Japanese arts, crafts, literature, culture, and industry, located an hour away, and visit Todaiji Temple. Todaji is not only the world’s largest wooden structure, but also houses the world’s largest Buddha statue. We will also be able to see the Nara deer in Nara Park. Then we head to Kobe, famous for its beef. In Kobe, guests may try Kobe beef during the free time provided. After that, we visit Nunobiki Herb Garden, one of Japan’s largest gardens, located on 40 acres of land. We reach the garden by cable car from the top of Mount Rokko. Nunobiki Herb Garden contains more than 75,000 plant varieties. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Osaka. Overnight at the hotel. Osaka - Tokyo After breakfast at the hotel, we transfer to Tokyo by high-speed train. Upon arrival, we begin our panoramic Tokyo city tour with our private vehicle. First, we visit Asakusa/Senso-ji Temple, the oldest Shinto temple (645) famous for its giant lanterns that reflect Tokyo’s atmosphere. At Nakamise Street, Japan’s first open-air shopping street with more than 70 shops, you can buy gifts for your loved ones. We continue to Ginza, Japan’s luxury shopping district and perhaps the most famous street in the world. Once the silver mint of Japan until 1800, Ginza became a luxury shopping district after the Great Kanto Earthquake. Its name comes from the combination of the kanji for “silver” (gin) and “place” (za). In the final part of our tour, we experience Shibuya Crossing, a pedestrian crossing used by millions of people daily and tens of thousands at the same time. As they say, “A Tokyo tour isn’t complete unless you step on Shibuya.” At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Tokyo. Overnight at the hotel. Tokyo After breakfast at our hotel, you can enjoy a full day at leisure. Guests who wish may join the optional Mount Fuji – Kawaguchi tour organized by our guide (195 USD). Our first stop is the Mount Fuji Museum, where we will learn about Mount Fuji. Then we go to Oshino Hakkai Village, where we can experience natural spring waters and traditional Japanese life. Here, you can drink the icy water of Fuji, taste local delicacies, and enjoy shopping among authentic souvenirs. If you wish, you can try mochi, the traditional Japanese rice cake snack. The final stop of the tour is Lake Kawaguchi, which offers one of the most beautiful views of Mount Fuji. On the peaceful boat tour here, you will admire the magnificent view of Mount Fuji. At the end of the tour, we transfer back to our hotel in Tokyo. Overnight at the hotel. Tokyo After breakfast at our hotel, the day is free for you to spend as you wish. Guests who wish may join the optional Kamakura & Outlet tour organized by our guide (195 USD). On our journey to Kamakura, the birthplace of the shogunate system in Japan, we first visit Kotoku-in Temple, famous for the Great Buddha Statue of Kamakura, one of the country’s symbols. Then we move on to Hokokuji Temple, known for its peaceful atmosphere and bamboo groves. Here, we have the chance to experience mochi, a traditional Japanese dessert, with green tea. In the final part of our tour, we stop at a large open-air outlet center and give free time for shopping. At the end of the day, we return to our hotel in Tokyo. Overnight at the hotel. Tokyo - Istanbul After breakfast at the hotel, we will have some free time. (hotel check-out time is 11:00), then at the meeting time determined by our guide, we will gather in the hotel lobby and transfer to the airport. Upon arrival, after ticketing and baggage procedures, we will take our Turkish Airlines scheduled flight to Istanbul. Overnight on board. Istanbul Upon our arrival in Istanbul in the morning, our tour ends.

Participation Requirement

This trip is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 15 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the start of the tour. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

Your passport must be valid for 6 months from the end date of the trip and must not be older than 10 years.For destinations where a visa is required, the visa application must be submitted with the documents specified in the “Documents Required for Visa” list that your agency will provide to you. Health

Those who regularly take medication are advised to bring more medication with them than they need, as not all types of medication are available in the country. We also recommend that you do not drink tap water and drink bottled water that you open for the first time yourself.

Optional Tours & Activities

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we work with, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the excursions may not take place, or the prices, content, and vehicles to be used for optional tours/activities may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of optional tours/activities may be changed by the guide depending on whether museums, archaeological sites, or venues at the destinations are open/closed and on weather conditions.

Accommodation

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified kilometers. 

Child discounts are valid for one (1) child staying with 2 adults and falling within the age group specified in the pricing section.

Breakfasts included in the tour program and served at hotels are offered in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally consist of a limited menu called a continental breakfast, including butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee; for groups, they may be served in a separate room allocated to the group.

Currency

The currency of Japan is the Yen (JPY).. We recommend that you bring USD for this trip, including small denominations.

Time Zone

There is a +6-hour time difference between Türkiye and both countries. When it is 12:00 in Türkiye, the time in the countries we will visit is 18.00.

Clothing and Necessary Items

We recommend that you bring T-shirts that can be easily put on and taken off, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, comfortable walking shoes, and a lightweight jacket or cardigan. We advise you to prefer non-synthetic, cotton clothing. You may also bring a raincoat and umbrella in case of rain. In addition, you may bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs in case of possible noise, a camera, video camera, their chargers, and spare memory cards.

Important Notes

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for the destination/passport where a visa is required) does not mean that entry into the country is guaranteed. Passport police have the authority to deny you entry to the country. If panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, cannot take place because local authorities do not permit visiting or entering the relevant places on the day and at the time corresponding to the tour, because roads are closed due to any event, or because weather conditions make it impossible to conduct the tour, Papua Tour is not responsible for the inability to operate these tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot, where possible, at locations with closed roads or where vehicle access is not permitted.
