After having breakfast at our hotel, we begin the Warsaw City Tour, the capital of Poland reborn from its ashes. Our first stop is the historic center, where we will get to see the magnificent Royal Castle made of brick, considered one of the largest royal residences in Europe. The castle, known for its famous statue of King Sigismund at the Castle Square (Plac Zamkowy), is the city's most iconic meeting point. Following this, we enter the Old Town (Stare Miasto), mesmerizing with its cobbled narrow streets and beautifully restored historic structures. This area, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the most popular destination in the city for people-watching, shopping, and tasting traditional delicacies. While wandering around the vibrant Old Town Market Area (Rynek Starego Miasta) in the heart of the historic city center, we uncover the impressive Warsaw Barbican, one of the rare remnants of the city's fortification system dating back to the 16th century, which was accurately restored after World War II.
