Our first stop is the source of Lake Ohrid. The magnificent view here will take your breath away. After visiting Sveti Naum, we reach Ohrid city center, a Mediterranean town in the Balkans. We start our tour of Ohrid with the Port Square, discussing the statues we see, and during our walk in the neighborhood where the historical Ohrid houses, where the shooting of Elveda Rumeli was done, are located, we will present the historical Ottoman houses, the Church of Hagia Sophia, and the famous Ohrid Pearl, concluding our tour. We will see the city panoramically, then visit the Alaca Mosque, which has a rare architecture in the Balkans. Afterwards, we will move on to the beautiful Matka Canyon; after a nature walk, guests can take a canyon tour with the famous kayaks in their free time. After free time we will meet at our vehicle and continue our journey to Skopje, the capital. We will begin our city tour in Skopje. Our tour starts with the famous sites on the Macedonian side, particularly the giant statue of Alexander the Great. We pass over the Historic Skopje Stone Bridge, experiencing a moment witnessing how cultures change when crossing, then head to the Üsküp Turkish Bazaar, one of the most qualified bazaars of the Ottomans in the Balkans. We start exploring the bazaar at the entrance, mentioning the statues, then visiting the Historical Davut Pasha Hamam and Kapan Han, one of the essential structures of the Ottoman bazaar organization, concluding our tour after visiting the Murat Pasha Mosque that survived earthquakes. We then move on to Belgrade Fortress, where Fatih Sultan Mehmet was wounded but whose conquest would be realized by Suleiman the Magnificent; features include the Keys Monument, the French statue, the Istanbul Gate, the Military Museum, the tomb of Damat Ali Pasha, Sokollu Fountain, and the terrace with a great view of where the Sava and Danube rivers meet. As we travel along the mountain roads of the Balkans, we will enjoy breathtaking views. After approximately a seven-hour journey, we begin our panoramic city tour upon arrival. We will walk around the most excellent bazaar in Europe, Baščaršija. As we introduce this cultural city, we start with the Sebil Fountain, the symbol of the bazaar, and then visit the Morica Han, one of the most authentic points in the city. Next, we explore the Hüsrev Bey Mosque, a relative of Suleiman the Magnificent. As we continue our tour, we visit the Clock Tower, the famous fountain, and the intersection of cultures, which also contains the Eternal Flame memorial. After the tour, we will have free time. We will have a short break in Konjic, a charming little town known historically where horses rested; after seeing the Konjic Bridge built by Sultan Mehmed IV, we continue via Jablanica. Along this route, we will witness the most beautiful natural views shaped by the Neretva River. Upon our arrival in Mostar, we will see the Koski Mehmet Paşa Mosque and the Turkish Consulate Building. We will also visit the famous Mostar Bridge, which was destroyed by Croatian artillery during the war in 1992, but rebuilt with significant contributions from the Republic of Turkey in 2004, included in UNESCO's Cultural Heritage List. If fortunate, we might witness young Bosnian heroes diving from the bridge. We will explore the Old Bazaar. After free time, we will move to Blagaj, known for the Buna River's springs, where the beautiful Blagaj Tekke is nestled against massive rocks, providing a serene atmosphere. After visiting Kotor, we will drive to Budva, known for its high society, after passing through Budva, which used to be a fishermen's settlement before being declared a vacation spot. We will also have the chance to take a panoramic view of St. Stefan from the parking lot. Afterward, we continue to the Albanian city of Shkodra, where we will transfer to our hotel. In one of the cutest towns in the Balkans, Prizren, we embark on a panoramic tour where we will see the Turkish Bath from the 17th century, Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and Prizren Fortress. After the tour and free time, we head towards the Capital city of Albania, Tirana. Upon arrival, we will conduct a panoramic city tour; we will see Ethem Bey Mosque, the Historical Clock Tower, National History Museum, and the Opera House, among others. We will have some free time after the tour. Following this visit, we will transfer to Tirana Airport. After ticket, luggage, and passport procedures, we will depart on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 214 at 02:20 the next day to Antalya, arriving in Antalya at 05:10. Need to Know
- During the tour, it is sufficient to carry Euros to make purchases and expenses in all countries included in the program. In areas using local currency, the guide will assist with currency exchange. - During the trip, comfortable walking shoes or sneakers should be preferred. It is advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evening. - On our tours, seat rotation (seat change) is applied daily in the coach seating plan; no fixed seat or front seat guarantee is given. Seat changes are organized by the tour guide. - When entering Turkey from abroad, there is a minimum stay requirement of 3 days in order to bring items (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.). - Free shop shopping limits when entering Turkey from abroad: Cigarettes: 3 cartons, Alcoholic beverages: 1 liter of alcoholic drinks (excluding alcoholic drinks over 22% alcohol, wine and champagne), Alcoholic beverages: 2 liters of alcoholic drinks (including alcoholic drinks under 22% alcohol, wine and champagne), Perfume: 600 ml, Makeup or skincare products: 5 items, Chocolate and confectionery: 2 kg, Coffee: 1 kg, Tea: 1 kg - The guides may make changes to the flow of the program depending on weather and road conditions, provided that all places specified in the program are shown. - Guests who register for the tour have the right to cancel free of charge up to 30 days before the tour. Documents submitted with the participant’s cancellation request, such as hospital reports or workplace leave documents obtained from authorities in Turkey, are unfortunately not accepted for the cancellation of hotel and service bookings outside Turkey. - Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation of 25 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the latest cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour departure. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified by Viyatravel. - In cases where only category information is provided without naming the hotel(s), and/or there are options for the same destination in the program, the hotel(s) will be announced by Viyatravel 2 days before departure. - During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at a distance greater than the specified kilometers. - Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and in such rooms the bed assigned to the third person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are fold-away or coach beds, tour participants making reservations for the third person and/or children are deemed to have accepted the possible lack of space in the room and the bed type. Child discounts apply only for one child staying with two adults and matching the relevant age group. - Breakfasts included in the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and are generally presented as a limited menu, commonly referred to as a continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group. - Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of cities, conducted panoramically from the vehicle with guide commentary, and do not include museum or archaeological site entrance fees. If, on the day and time of the tour specified in the program, the tour cannot be carried out because access is not permitted by local authorities, or due to closed roads caused by any event, or if weather conditions make the tour impossible, Viyatravel is not responsible for the inability to perform such tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where roads are closed or vehicle access is not permitted. - Waiting times at border crossings passed by road during the journey may exceed standard durations, and Viyatravel cannot be held responsible for any inconveniences arising from such delays. - Extra tours are organized by the local service provider with whom we work, with a minimum participation of 20 people. If sufficient numbers are not achieved, the excursions cannot be carried out, or extra tour prices, content, and vehicles used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of museums and sites at the destinations and weather conditions. - Participation in extra tours is optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join extra tours organized during the trip are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest stop along the route. These passengers will be dropped off at a roadside rest area before the extra tour begins and picked up from the same point after the tour is completed. - For those joining air-inclusive tours, check-in and boarding procedures are personal responsibilities and must be completed by the guest before the flight at the relevant airline counters at the airport or online through the airline’s website. - Viyatravel is not responsible for those who are not present at the airport at the times announced by Viyatravel for participation in the tour, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete them on time but do not board the plane. Passengers who miss the flight are responsible for all costs related to obtaining new round-trip flight tickets and transfers in the destination area in order to join the tour. - Viyatravel acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955.
