After ticket, luggage and passport procedures, we depart for Tirana at 12:25 with Pegasus Airlines flight PC285. Arrival in Tirana at 13:10 local time. After passport, luggage and customs procedures, we will head to the capital of Montenegro, Podgorica. After our arrival, we will have a panoramic tour in Podgorica, the smallest capital in the Balkans. After free time in the charming streets and squares of the city, we will transfer to our hotel. Guests who wish can join the optional Lake Skadar tour (45 EUR). Also known as Lake Shkodra, this lake is the largest lake in the Balkans. This peaceful lake hosts more than 270 species of birds, including pelicans that are hard to find in Europe and are under threat of extinction. With its nature, this lake will dazzle you. We will end this tour with our private boat in Rijeka Crnojevica. Overnight at our hotel. Lunch: Extra at a place to be determined by the guide during free time. Day 2 Podgorica (Kotor-Tivat-Perast-Budva) After breakfast at our hotel, free time. Guests who wish can join the full-day Kotor-Tivat-Perast-Budva tour (75 EUR). Our first stop is Kotor, a small but very important city in terms of its historical and architectural sites, which has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979. During our walking city tour, we will see Kotor's most important buildings that reflect the Venetian architectural style and then start to stroll around Kotor Bay, visiting the postcard-like Perast with its unique landscapes. The last stop on our journey along the precious coasts of this bay will be Tivat city, known as the Monaco of Montenegro. You can relax in the luxurious cafes of Tivat, release the tiredness of the day by swimming or walking on the beach. After our tour, we will head to Budva. After a panoramic tour of Budva, we will stop for a view from above to see the magnificent St. Stefan, which was a fishermen's settlement and was expropriated and later sold to a Singaporean multimillionaire, now a holiday resort for the jet set. Day 3 Podgorica – Shkodra – Tirana (Kruja) After breakfast at our hotel, we will head to the Albanian city of Shkodra. Known for its strategic importance in the Balkans and under Ottoman rule for many years, we will see the city fortress and walls. After a brief walking tour in the city center and free time, we will move on to the capital, Tirana. We will have a panoramic tour of this beautiful city, which has been through wars throughout the 20th century and experienced the dictatorship regime of Enver Hoxha for 40 years, and which was established by Suleiman Pasha in 1614 and became Albania's capital in 1920. During the tour, we will see the Et'hem Bey Mosque, Historical Clock Tower, National History Museum, and the Opera House at Skanderbeg Square. Some of the places we will see from the vehicle include the Parliament and Prime Ministry Buildings, Presidential Palace, Mother Teresa Square, and the Tirana Pyramid. After the Tirana tour, there will be free time. Guests who wish can join the optional Kruja tour (30 EUR). Kruja is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Albania. This historic town, known as Acrocorinth in the Ottoman period, is located 20 km north of the capital Tirana. Surrounded by steep rocks, the castle is built on 800 meters of land and has surrounding walls. In Kruja, we will see the Skanderbeg Museum, the Sarı Saltuk Lodge, the Esad Toptani Pasha Mansion, the Kruja Castle, the Dolma Baba Bektashi Lodge, the Ottoman Bath, and the Murat Bey Mosque. Day 4 Tirana – Istanbul (Berat) After breakfast at our hotel, free time until flight time. Guests who wish can join the optional tour of Berat, known as the museum city of Albania (65 EUR). We will depart for Berat, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Known historically as the "City of a Thousand Windows," we will see the important structures of this historical city, including the Lead Mosque, Halveti Lodge, the historic Gorica Bridge, and the Muslim and Christian quarters. Afterward, we will have free time in the historical streets of the city. After the tour, we will transfer to the airport. Then we will transfer to Tirana Airport. After ticket, luggage, and passport procedures, we will depart for Istanbul at 02:45 with Pegasus Airlines flight PC284 (Next Day) and arrive in Istanbul at 05:20. Need to Know
- To make purchases and spend money in all countries included in the tour program, it is sufficient to have euros with us. In regions where the local currency is used, the guide will assist with currency exchange. - During the trip, comfortable walking shoes or sneakers should be preferred. It is advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evening. - On our tours, seat rotation is applied daily in the seating plan, and no fixed seat or front-row seat guarantee is given. Seat changes are organized by the tour guide. - In order to bring goods (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.) when entering Turkey from abroad, a minimum stay of 3 days is required. - Free shop purchase limits when entering Turkey from abroad: Cigarettes: 3 cartons, Alcoholic beverages: 1 liter of alcoholic drinks (excluding alcoholic drinks with more than 22% alcohol, wine and champagne), Alcoholic beverages: 2 liters of alcoholic drinks (including alcoholic drinks with less than 22% alcohol, wine and champagne), Perfume: 600 ml, Makeup or skin care products: 5 items, Chocolate and confectionery: 2 kg, Coffee: 1 kg, Tea: 1 kg - Guides may make changes to the program flow depending on weather and road conditions, provided that all places stated in the program are shown. - Guests who register for the tour have the right to cancel free of charge up to 30 days before the tour date. If the cancellation is made less than 30 days before the tour date, a 30% penalty applies, and if it is 20 days or less, a 100% penalty applies. Documents submitted together with the cancellation request, such as hospital reports obtained from authorities in Turkey, employer leave documents, etc., unfortunately are not accepted for the cancellation of hotel and services to be received outside Turkey. - Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 25 people. If sufficient participation is not reached for the trip, the latest cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour departure. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be announced by Viyatravel. - In cases where only category information is provided without specifying a hotel name and/or there are alternative options for the same destination in the tour program, the hotel(s) will be notified by Viyatravel 2 days before departure. - During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the stated kilometers. - Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and in such rooms the bed allocated to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable and/or coach beds, guests participating as the 3rd person and/or children are deemed to have accepted the possible cramped space in the room and the bed type. Child discounts are valid only for one child within the applicable age group staying with 2 adults. - Breakfasts included in the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and are generally continental breakfasts consisting of a limited menu of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee. For groups, they may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group. - Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of cities, carried out panoramically from the vehicle with guide commentary, and do not include entrance fees to museums or historical sites, lasting at most 2–3 hours. Viyatravel is not responsible for tours included in the program or other tours that cannot be carried out if the places to be visited are not allowed to be visited by local authorities on the day and time of the tour, if they cannot take place due to closed roads because of any event, or if they become impossible due to weather conditions. Some tours may be carried out by public transport or on foot where roads are closed or vehicle entry is not permitted. - Waiting times at border checkpoints crossed by road during the trip may exceed standard times, and Viyatravel cannot be held responsible for any inconveniences arising from such waiting times. - Extra tours are organized by the local service provider we work with, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If the required number is not reached, the tours may not be held, or extra tour prices, content, and the vehicles used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide depending on the opening/closing status of museums and historical sites at the destinations and weather conditions. - Participation in extra tours is optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join extra tours organized during the trip are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest stop along the route. These passengers will be dropped off at a roadside rest stop before the extra tour starts and picked up from the same point after the tour is completed. - For passengers joining tours by air, check-in and boarding procedures are personal responsibilities and must be completed by the guest before the flight at the relevant airline counters at the airports or online on the airline’s website. - Viyatravel is not responsible for passengers who do not arrive at the specified airport at the times announced by Viyatravel for participation in the tour, who do not complete check-in and boarding on time, or who complete check-in and boarding on time but do not board the aircraft. Passengers who miss the flight are responsible for all costs of new round-trip tickets required to join the tour and all transfer expenses in the destination area. - Viyatravel is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. Delays may occur on scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. Viyatravel is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the trip accepting the risk of schedule changes. Children aged 0–2 do not pay airport taxes and airport service fees. - The types of vehicles used on our tours are classified as follows according to the number of participants. The vehicle types below are assigned based on the number of people on each tour.
