Bus Tour to Bucharest & Transylvania 2 Nights Stay 2026

Tour details
1st Day: Istanbul - Edirne Meet and depart from Kadıköy Tepe Nautilus Shopping Center opposite (Ayrılıkçeşme Metro İspark Parking Lot) at 21:00, then head to Mecidiyeköy Polat Holding Front at 21:30, and Ömür Plaza in İncirli at 22:00. Proceed by vehicle following the Istanbul - Edirne highway to arrive at the Kapıkule Land Border Crossing. After completing exit procedures here, enter Bulgaria. 2nd Day: Kapıkule - Bucharest After a night journey, early in the morning, we cross the “Friendship Bridge” in Ruse, Bulgaria, and reach the Romanian border crossing at Giurgiu. Following customs and passport procedures, we head towards Bucharest, Romania's capital, known as “the Paris of the East.” After a buffet breakfast in Bucharest (extra), we begin a panoramic tour of the city, where we will see the main sights such as Unirii Square, University Square, Aviation Memorial, Victory Square, Calea Victoriei (Victory Avenue), Romanian Athenaeum, Revolution Square, Royal Palace, Atatürk’s statue, Bucharest Historical Museum, the “People’s House” built by Ceausescu (Parliament Palace), Old Town, Victory Arch, among others. After the city tour, those interested can join an additional tour of the “Ceausescu Palace” (extra) which was opened as a museum in 2016, built by Nicolay Ceausescu. Following this, we will move to the hotel for check-in, free time, and overnight stay. Guests can also opt to participate in an extra Cultural Romanian Night with dinner and entertainment at a traditional restaurant (extra €60). After the evening program, we return to the hotel for overnight in Bucharest. 3rd Day: Bucharest – Sinaia – (Bran – Brașov) – Bucharest After breakfast at the hotel, we have free time. Those interested can join an extra tour of the “Transylvania Castles,” famed for their natural beauty and history (extra €80). We start with the visit to Peleș Castle, one of Europe’s most beautiful castles. After a short photo break, we head to Bran. Upon arrival, we visit the mysterious “Dracula Castle,” associated with Vlad the Impaler, known as the “Vampire Count,” and the setting for the famous vampire movies. Afterwards, guests can shop at large souvenir markets and try local delicacies. Free time will be available. Later, we travel to Brașov, known for its medieval architecture, Saint Nicholas Church, City Walls, and cozy streets. After a panoramic city tour, guests have free time for relaxation and local dining at well-known restaurants. Then, we return to the hotel in Bucharest for overnight. 4th Day: Bucharest – Ruse – Veliko Tarnovo – Istanbul After breakfast, the rooms are vacated, and at the time determined by the guide, we depart. Guests may join an optional shopping tour to the Outlet and Lidl Market (extra €20). We cross the Ruse border and the “Friendship Bridge” over the Danube River into Bulgaria, heading towards Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria’s ancient capital. In Veliko Tarnovo, a panoramic city tour includes visiting Tsarevets Fortress from the 11th century, the Old Ottoman Jail Museum, Gurko Street with Ottoman and Turkish-style houses, and the Samovodska Bazaar where local artisans showcase their crafts. After free time, we depart for Istanbul, crossing the Dereköy border. After approximately a 3-hour journey, we arrive in Istanbul late at night or early morning, marking the end of the tour.
