Day 1 ISTANBUL – ROVANIEMI – SAARISELKA

We meet at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, international departures terminal, three hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, our flight to Rovaniemi begins with a Pegasus Airlines special charter. Upon arrival, we board our private bus waiting for us at the airport and depart for our Rovaniemi city tour. First, we visit Santa Claus Village, known as the village of Santa Claus. During our tour, where we can meet Santa Claus, take photos, and send postcards from Santa Claus’s post office, we will also have the opportunity to buy region-specific souvenirs. After the tour, transfer to our Saariselka hotel and free time. Accommodation at our hotel. In the evening, guests who wish may join our extra “Northern Lights Hunt” tour (65 Euro). Polar lights, or the Aurora Borealis, are natural illuminations seen in the skies over polar regions, resulting from the interaction between the Earth’s magnetic field and charged particles from the Sun. In northern latitudes, this phenomenon is called Aurora Borealis or the northern lights. There is no exact date when it can be seen, but December, January, February, and March are the best months to observe this beautiful natural event. Day 2 SAARISELKA

We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Guests who wish may join our extra “Reindeer and Husky Safari with Lunch” (450 Euro) tour. Departing from our hotel, we transfer to the reindeer farm. After putting on our special thermal clothing, we take a half-hour sleigh ride pulled by reindeer and receive our driving certificates. Then we move on to the Husky farm. After the training we receive on how to steer the sleds pulled by Husky dogs, we get on our team sled for an enjoyable ride. Guests who wish may join our extra “Snowmobile Safari” (180 Euro) tour. After putting on our special thermal clothing, we enjoy a safari of about 1 hour with our snowmobiles. Afterwards, guests who wish may join our extra “Aurora Borealis Planetarium Show & Kakslauttanen Aurora Night” (150 Euro) tour. First, at the Planetarium, with the Aurora Borealis show, we explore the formation of the northern lights, their colors, and the unique dance they perform in the sky through impressive visual presentations. Thanks to this mesmerizing show, we have the opportunity to get to know one of nature’s most striking events up close. Then we head to Kakslauttanen, one of the most special spots in Lapland. In this unique area, far from light pollution, while feeling the enchanting atmosphere of the polar night, we carefully watch the sky and, if we are lucky, witness the green, purple, and pink dancing lights of Aurora Borealis. We experience unforgettable moments with the silence of snow-covered nature, the star-studded sky, and the unique beauty of the Northern Lights, immortalizing this fairy-tale atmosphere with photos. Day 3 SAARISELKA

We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Guests who wish may join our full-day extra “King Crab Safari with Lunch in Kirkenes” (550 Euro) tour. Accompanied by magnificent polar landscapes, we both explore nature and have the opportunity to get to know the king crab, one of the world’s largest shellfish, up close. With experienced local guides, we head out onto the Arctic waters, discover the king crabs’ natural habitat, and learn fascinating information about this unique hunting tradition. Throughout this unforgettable day spent in the harsh yet captivating nature of the North, we feel Norway’s polar culture up close. After the safari, we enjoy the fresh King Crab lunch and savor the taste of this unique delicacy. This gastronomic experience, extending from the crystal-clear waters of the Arctic to our table, adds an unforgettable flavor to our journey. On this special tour that combines nature, adventure, and gourmet experience, we discover the unique atmosphere of Kirkenes and create memories in the Arctic Circle that we will remember for a lifetime. Day 4 SAARISELKA – ROVANIEMI – ISTANBUL

Early in the morning, check-out from the rooms. Then, at the time determined by our guide, transfer from our hotel to Rovaniemi Airport. After completing our baggage and passport procedures, depart for Istanbul with a special Pegasus Airlines flight. The end of our tour upon arrival at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. We bid farewell to our valued guests, hoping to see you on your next journey.
