Koblenz stands out as one of the most characteristic stops of the romantic Rhine Valley, with its medieval buildings and the Deutsches Eck monument. After seeing Koblenz, we continue our journey to Frankfurt. Upon arrival, we will take a panoramic Frankfurt city tour. We will see the Cathedral, which hosted the coronation ceremonies of the Holy Roman Emperors in the Middle Ages; Palmengarten, Frankfurt’s largest and most impressive botanical garden, with greenhouses containing plant species from all over the world and vast green areas; Römerberg Square, known for its historic half-timbered houses and medieval town hall; and the Christmas Markets. First, we go to the fairy-tale town of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, Pfister House, and the colorful houses around the Rhine River, as well as the city’s most famous area, Petite Venise (Little Venice). In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will have the chance to find many delicious foods to suit your taste as well as many souvenirs. Our next stop is Riquewihr, a village in the Alsace region famous for its vineyards, flower-filled balconies, distinctive row of shops, pedestrian cobblestone streets, buildings that somehow survived World War II unscathed, and charming cafés; it also features a tower that houses the Dolder Museum, which preserves the town’s history through documents and brings to mind Grimm fairy tales. Riquewihr, the most visited village in the Alsace region, has a population of approximately 1,100 and is considered the pearl of the region, surrounded by vineyards. With the allure of the harvest festivals starting from mid-September every year, Riquewihr is decorated with typical German architecture, half-timbered pastel-colored houses adorned with flowers, and a gently sloping cobblestone main street called “Grand Rue” from the entrance gate up into the town. After completing our visit here, we return to Strasbourg and carry out our panoramic Strasbourg city tour. We are in Europe’s second most important city after Brussels in the European Union. Historically and culturally very rich, it is the city of Gutenberg, Rouget de Lisle, Dutch philosopher Erasmus, and German writer Goethe. Strasbourg’s historic city center is in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed “Grande Île” area. In the city tour, the Notre Dame Cathedral and most of the other places we will see are within an island surrounded by the river. In the southwest of this island lies Strasbourg’s most beautiful and interesting district, Little France (La Petite France). This is an area full of historic Renaissance-era houses and museums where rivers meet and are regulated. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. Strasbourg - Basel - Istanbul After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we head to Basel. Upon arrival, free time for our guests to explore the enchanting Christmas markets. French cuisine, whose fame has spread throughout the world with its famous local beverages and wide variety of cheeses, is known for meat dishes cooked with different sauces and famous desserts such as crème brûlée, macarons, and soufflé.

Belgian cuisine combines the culinary traditions of Germany and France.

Although Dutch cuisine is not particularly rich, its cheeses are worth trying. Other than that, the flavors are generally fast-food style.
