Istanbul - San Francisco After meeting with our valued guests at the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport, we depart on Turkish Airlines’ scheduled flight to San Francisco, one of America’s largest cities. After a flight of approximately 13 hours, we arrive in San Francisco local time. After meeting our private vehicle and guide waiting for us at the airport, we begin our San Francisco city tour. Our first stop will be the Civic Center district, the city’s administrative center. Then we will head to Fisherman’s Wharf, where we will have free time for lunch. After lunch, we visit Lombard Street, known as the winding street and featured in many Hollywood films, and then go to Twin Peaks Hill, where we can enjoy a magnificent view of the city. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. San Francisco - Napa Valley After breakfast at our hotel, we head to Napa Valley, located just north of San Francisco, home to more than 400 wine producers and renowned worldwide as a famous wine region. In this small city, which promises us magnificent scenery, we will have the opportunity to see vast vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see and taste wine. Later, during our free time in downtown Napa Valley, we will have the chance to get to know the city better and take a walk along the Napa River that gives the region life. Afterwards, we set off back to San Francisco. We first photograph the city’s most famous landmark, the Golden Gate Bridge, from a panoramic viewpoint, then cross it by vehicle to reach the point where we will board the city’s other symbol, the Cable Car (Red Tram). After an enjoyable tram ride, we take a short walk in the world’s largest Chinatown and complete our tour with a visit to Union Square, which can be considered the city center, before returning to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. Monterey - Carmel After breakfast at our hotel, we depart via the iconic Highway 1 toward Monterey. This legendary road along the California coast offers breathtaking views where the boundless blue of the Pacific Ocean meets rugged cliffs. Our first photo stop on this wonderful journey will be Pescadero State Beach. Next, we arrive in Santa Cruz. In this beautiful seaside city, we will have the chance to see sea lions basking on the pier and walk along the boardwalk by the ocean. Then, continuing along Highway 1, we reach Old Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey, our first stop in the city. After free time for lunch and a walk, we drive along the stunning coastal road with sea views through the iconic 17-Mile and Pebble Beach region, seeing beautiful houses surrounded by nature. Afterwards, we arrive in the neighboring town of Carmel. This charming town will enchant you with its European-style architecture, art galleries, boutique shops, and beautiful white-sand beach. After our evening walk in the Cannery Row area, we head to our hotel. After check-in, we settle into our rooms. Overnight at the hotel. Yosemite National Park - Fresno After breakfast at our hotel, we set off for Yosemite National Park, one of the world’s most famous national parks. Our journey promises more magnificent scenery. Backed by the Sierra Nevada Mountains, this national park ranks among the world’s most impressive natural parks with its massive granite cliffs, majestic waterfalls, and pristine nature. Our first stop in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed park is Tunnel View. After enjoying the magnificent view of the park from here, we take a wonderful nature walk, seeing El Capitan, Half Dome, Bridalveil, and Yosemite waterfalls up close. After our lunch break, we head to our hotel in Fresno. Overnight at the hotel. Sequoia National Park - Bakersfield After breakfast at our hotel, we set off for Sequoia National Park, home to the largest trees in the world. This magnificent park offers mountain views, peaceful forest roads, and wonderful viewpoints. The giant Sequoia trees, reaching 80–90 meters in height and 11–12 meters in diameter, will impress you with their grandeur. Our first stop is the General Grant tree, the second-largest tree in the world by volume, then passing through Giant Forest, we will see the General Sherman tree, approximately 2,200 years old and 91 meters tall, the largest tree in the world. After seeing these giant trees, we arrive at Moro Rock, which offers the most stunning views in the region, after a short drive. Guests who wish may climb this 350-step viewpoint and enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Sierra Nevada Mountains from an altitude of approximately 2,050 meters. After our visit to Moro Rock, we head to Bakersfield to spend the night. Overnight at the hotel. Los Angeles After breakfast at our hotel, we head to Los Angeles, the second-largest city in the United States and the City of Angels. As soon as we arrive, we begin our tour with the Hollywood district. Our first stop is Hollywood Boulevard, which you will remember from the movies. Here, among the places we will see are the Kodak Theatre, where the Oscar ceremony is held (now called the Dolby Theater), the Chinese Theatre, where famous movie premieres take place, and the Walk of Fame, where the hand and footprints of famous film and music artists are displayed. You will also have the chance to photograph the city’s symbol, the giant Hollywood sign. Then, by way of the famous Sunset Strip and Santa Monica Boulevard, we reach Beverly Hills. Here, we will see the famous Beverly Hills sign. Afterwards, we take a short walk along Rodeo Drive, where the filming of "Pretty Woman" took place and where the world’s most luxurious shops are located, and see the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, where stars such as Elvis Presley and John Lennon lived for many years. In lively Santa Monica, filled with street performers, you can have dinner at stylish cafés and restaurants and relax after the day’s fatigue. Overnight at the hotel. Los Angeles After breakfast at our hotel, the whole day is free. Today, guests who wish can rest, shop, or visit Universal Park in Los Angeles. Overnight at the hotel. Los Angeles - Istanbul After breakfast at our hotel, free time until transfer to the airport. Afterwards, meeting and transfer to Los Angeles Airport. Flight to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines’ scheduled service. Overnight on board. Istanbul We will arrive in Istanbul in the evening. Until we meet again on our next tour.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT 

This tour is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the start of the tour. The cancelled tour due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

You must have a passport valid for 6 months from the end date of the trip and not older than 10 years.

For destinations requiring a visa, the visa application must be submitted with the documents specified in the “Documents Required for Visa” list that your agency will provide to you.

In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; such passports must be renewed, and if it is a country that requires visas from citizens of the Republic of Türkiye, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility lies with the passenger.

Since guests under the age of 18 traveling alone or accompanied by only one of their parents may be asked by the police officer on duty at the country's entry and exit points to provide a document showing the joint consent of both parents, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents pay particular attention to this matter.

HEALTH

We do not expect you to encounter any health-threatening problems with the meals served at the region's good restaurants and hotels. Nevertheless, we recommend that you be careful about eating and drinking when you are not with the group, consume only bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, consume meat and fish products that you are sure have been thoroughly cooked, and eat fruits such as bananas and pineapples that can be peeled. Current vaccination/PCR rules must be followed when entering the country and returning home.

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES      

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we receive services from, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If sufficient numbers are not reached, the excursions may not take place, or the prices, content, and vehicles to be used for optional tours/activities may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of extra tours/activities may be changed by the guide depending on whether the museums, archaeological sites or venues at the destinations are open/closed and on weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION   

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events and sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified kilometers.

Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and in such rooms the bed provided for the 3rd person may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds consist of beds called folding beds and coach beds, participants booking for the 3rd person and/or children are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible crowding in the rooms and the bed type.

Child discounts are valid for one (1) child staying with 2 adults and belonging to the age group specified in the pricing section.

Breakfasts taken at the hotel among the services included in the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally consist of a limited menu of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, known as a continental breakfast, and may be served in a separate room allocated to the group.

TIME ZONE     

The Western United States is 10 hours behind Türkiye during daylight saving time and 11 hours behind during standard time.

For example, when it is 16:30 in Türkiye in winter, it is 06:30 in the Western United States.

Your mobile phone line can be used if it is enabled for international calls (roaming).

CLOTHING AND NECESSARY ITEMS  

If traveling during the summer season, we recommend bringing T-shirts, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket and a thin sweater for the evenings, all of which can be easily put on and taken off. In addition, you may bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera, their chargers and spare memory cards. During the winter period, we recommend clothing that allows you to move comfortably and keeps you warm.

FOOD CULTURE           

The country does not have a cuisine unique to itself, and a fast-food-oriented culture prevails. However, you can find many culinary cultures in the states. Although Chinese cuisine is widespread, you can find Turkish cuisine dishes in many states. Although there is no distinct food culture, its cuisine incorporates many cultures.

ELECTRICITY            

The electrical current used in America is 110 Volts. In Türkiye, it is 220 Volts. We recommend carrying a plug adapter with you.

SHOPPING          

Shopping is possible at shopping malls located in city centers and small businesses selling souvenirs.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for destinations/passports requiring a visa) does not mean that entry into the country is guaranteed. Passport control officers have the authority to deny you entry into the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the passenger.  

The agency is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and charter flights, or flight times may change before the current trip and flight. The agency is obliged to notify you of these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children between 0 and 2 years of age do not pay airport taxes and airport service fees. 

Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting no more than 2-3 hours, organized for a general introduction to the cities and conducted panoramically with a guide's commentary from inside the vehicle, without including museum or archaeological site entrance fees. If panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, cannot take place because local authorities do not allow the relevant places to be visited or entered on the day and at the time coinciding with the tour, or because roads are closed due to an event, likewise if weather conditions make it impossible to conduct the tour, the agency is not responsible for the inability to operate such tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot, where possible, on roads that are closed or at points where vehicle access is not permitted.
