Italy Tour from Start to Finish with Turkish Airlines, 7 Nights 8 Days Summer 2027 (MXP-FCO)

Day 1: Istanbul – Milan 

Meeting at 09:00 in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul New Airport International Departures Terminal. After check-in procedures, we depart for Milan at 11:30 on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1895. Upon arrival at 13:25 local time, we begin our panoramic Milan city tour with our waiting bus. During our Milan city tour, Castello Sforzesco, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Duomo Cathedral, and the city’s famous fashion district will be seen panoramically. After our guide’s commentary, free time will be given in the city center. Guests who wish may join the Como Lake & Towns Tour, organized optionally by our guide. After the tour, we head to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

We invite you to discover Lake Como, one of the world’s most popular lake destinations, stretching along the foothills of the Alps with its deep blue waters and postcard-perfect scenery. With its elegant villas, historic stone houses, and charming towns lined along the lakeshore, Lake Como is one of Italy’s most impressive regions. Throughout our tour, we enjoy pleasant walks in the beautiful towns around the lake, explore historic squares, narrow stone streets, and the colorful lakeside life up close. You may shop at local boutique stores, enjoy Italian coffee or gelato facing the lake view, and take unforgettable photos amidst unique scenery.

Day 2: Milan – Verona - Venice

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Venice. Guests who wish may join the Verona Tour, organized by our guide on the way. After the tour, we continue to Venice. From Tronchetto harbor, the final access point for vehicles, we take a vaporetto to the historic island. After an enjoyable vaporetto ride, we disembark at a point near San Marco Square, the historic center of the city, and begin our tour among the canals. Here, where motor vehicles have been removed and all the vehicles we are used to seeing in daily life such as police cars, ambulances, garbage trucks, municipal buses, etc. have been replaced by boats, we walk along Riva degli Schiavoni (Slaves’ Shore), one of Venice’s iconic spots; we see the Bridge of Sighs (Ponte dei Sospiri), San Giorgio Maggiore Island, the exterior of the Doge’s Palace, and the two historic columns symbolizing the city’s entrance panoramically. After our walk, we arrive at San Marco Square, the heart of Venice and one of the city’s most magnificent squares. After brief commentary from our guide, we provide a photo stop and free time for you to explore this enchanting atmosphere and take beautiful photos. Guests who wish may join the Venice Masterpieces & Gondola Tour, which will be organized additionally to discover Venice’s historical and cultural riches more closely. After our tour, free time and transfer to our hotel.

Optional Tour: Romeo & Juliet Love City Verona Tour Per Person: 40 Euro

We discover Verona, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. During the walking tour, Piazza Bra, Arena di Verona, Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori, Scaliger Tombs, and Juliet’s House with its famous balcony will be seen from the outside. After the guide’s explanations, free time will be given to explore the historic streets of the city, shop, or take a short break.

Optional Tour: Venice Masterpieces & Gondola Tour Per Person: 50 €

We learn about the historical and architectural features of St. Mark’s Basilica, one of Venice’s most important landmarks, and discover the significance of St. Mark’s Square as the political and religious center of the Venetian Republic for centuries. Then, we continue walking through the historic streets that bear witness to Venice’s past, with detailed information about the Clock Tower (Torre dell'Orologio), the Campanile (Bell Tower), and the Doge’s Palace. In the continuation of our tour, we explore the area around the Rialto Bridge and Rialto Market, one of Venice’s important commercial points extending from past to present, by moving through narrow canals, hidden passages, and historic squares reflecting Venice’s enchanting atmosphere. We have the opportunity to closely observe the lively atmosphere of this region and take beautiful photos reflecting Venice’s unique texture. We crown our Venice experience with a gondola ride, one of the most enjoyable and unforgettable parts of our program. As we glide through the historic canals in traditional gondolas, we discover the city’s unique architecture and romantic atmosphere from a completely different perspective. This special tour, where you will closely experience Venice’s enchanting atmosphere intertwined with history, art, architecture, and romance, offers an exploration full of unforgettable memories.

Note: In accordance with Venice’s standard operating procedures, the gondola ride is carried out with gondolas for a maximum of 5 people, shared according to the number of participants.

Day 3: Venice - Florence

After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, we depart for Florence. Upon arrival, we begin discovering Florence, considered the city where Renaissance art was born; a city that pioneered European trade in silk, wool, gold, and banking; once the capital of the Kingdom of Italy; and the birthplace of many important figures who shaped world history such as Dante, Leonardo da Vinci, and Michelangelo. During our panoramic city tour, Florence Cathedral (Duomo), the Baptistery, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Signoria Palace, which is now used as an open-air museum, and Signoria Square, Loggia dei Lanzi, Uffizi Square, the Ponte Vecchio Bridge with a history of about 650 years and lined with jewelry shops, Republic Square, and San Lorenzo Market are among the places to be seen. After our city tour, free time will be given. Then transfer to our hotel and overnight at our hotel.

Day 4: Florence 

After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the Great Tuscany: Pisa, Siena & San Gimignano Tour, organized optionally by our guide. Overnight at our hotel.

Optional Tour: Great Tuscany (Pisa – Siena – San Gimignano Tour): Per Person 100 EUR

We discover Tuscany’s three most important cities in a single day. Our first stop is Pisa; the Square of Miracles (Piazza dei Miracoli), the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Cathedral, and the Baptistery will be seen from the outside. Then we move on to San Gimignano, famous for its medieval texture and impressive towers. Here we enjoy a pleasant walk in Cisterna Square and the historic streets. In our final stop, Siena, we walk through narrow medieval streets and see the area around Siena Cathedral, the Loggia dei Mercanti, and Campo Square, known worldwide for the Palio horse races. Museum and archaeological site entrance fees in the cities are not included in the tour price unless otherwise stated.

Day 5: Florence – Rome 

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Rome. Upon arrival, we begin our panoramic Rome city tour in this enchanting city, the capital of world history and Italy. During our tour, we discover Rome’s most important historical points panoramically. Our first stop is the Colosseo (Colosseum) and the nearby Arch of Constantine. Then, with a view of the Roman Forum, we admire the city’s unique panoramic view from Capitol Hill. Next, we see the famous Mouth of Truth statue at Piazza della Bocca della Verità, pass by the Teatro Marcello, which has survived from the ancient Roman period to the present day, and reach the banks of the Tiber River. Our tour ends with the magnificent view of Castel Sant’Angelo (Holy Angel Castle) rising on the riverbank. After our city tour, guests who wish may join the Angels & Demons & Vatican Tour, organized additionally by our guide. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and check in to our rooms. Overnight at our hotel in Rome.

Optional Tour: Angels & Demons & Vatican Tour Per Person 40 Euro

On this enjoyable walking tour where we will discover Rome’s heritage of history, art, and faith together; Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza Venezia, and the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument will be seen. Then, we visit the Fountain of the Four Rivers at Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and Piazza del Popolo. In the final part of our tour, we go to the Vatican and see St. Peter’s Square and the exterior of the basilica. If security checks, visitor density, religious ceremonies, and the Vatican’s daily practices permit, entry to St. Peter’s Basilica will be made. The visit inside the basilica may be carried out in individual sightseeing format. Guiding inside may not be possible due to Vatican rules.

Day 6: Rome – Naples & Pompeii – Rome

After breakfast at the hotel, the whole day is free. Guests who wish may join the Pompeii Ancient City & Naples City Tour, organized optionally by our guide. In the evening, guests who wish may also join the Rome by Night Tour. Overnight at our hotel in Rome.

Optional Tour: Pompeii Ancient City and Naples City Tour – Per Person: 120 Euro

We begin our tour in the Ancient City of Pompeii, which was buried under ashes after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. After exploring the ancient city’s stone streets, houses, shops, baths, frescoes, and mosaics with a licensed local guide, we head to Naples. During our panoramic Naples city tour, Castel Nuovo, the Royal Palace, San Carlo Theater, Galleria Umberto, and the historic city center will be seen. In your free time, you may have the opportunity to taste Naples’ world-famous street food and traditional Italian pizza. The entrance fee to the Pompeii Ancient City is not included in the tour price unless otherwise stated.

Day 7: Rome

After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the Nemi & Lake District + Castel Romano Outlet Tour organized by our guide. After the tour, overnight at our hotel in Rome.

Optional Tour: Nemi Village & Lake District and Castel Romano McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Tour Per Person 70 Euro 

In the first part of our tour, the Castelli Romani region south of Rome, Castel Gandolfo, Lake Albano, and Nemi Village will be explored. After free time in Nemi, we head to Castel Romano McArthurGlen Designer Outlet. Free time will be given for shopping, dining, and relaxing at this open-air shopping center, where world-famous brands offer discounted products throughout the year. Visit durations are determined by the guide according to the daily flow of the program.

Day 8: Rome – Istanbul

After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, free time. At the time determined by our guide, we transfer to the airport. We depart for Istanbul Airport at 14:50 on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1866. After our arrival at Istanbul Airport at 19:30, our tour ends. We hope to see you again on our next organization…
