Italy Tour from Start to Finish with Turkish Airlines 7 Nights 8 Days Summer 2027 (FCO-MXP)

Day 1: Istanbul - Rome

Meeting with our valued guests at 10:00 in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal. Departure to Rome at 12:30 with Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1865. After arrival at 13:50, during our tour in this beautiful city, the capital of world history and Italy, we will explore Rome’s most important historical sites panoramically. Our first stop is the Colosseo (Colosseum) and the nearby Arch of Constantine. Then we enjoy a view of the Roman Forum and the panoramic city view from Capitoline Hill. At Piazza della Bocca della Verità, we see the “Mouth of Truth” statue and continue past the ancient Teatro Marcello to the banks of the Tiber River. Our tour ends with a view of Castel Sant’Angelo decorating the river. After the tour, guests who wish may join the Angels & Demons Tour organized by our guide. Transfer to our hotel and check-in to our rooms. Overnight in Rome at our hotel.

On our walking tour where we will discover Rome’s heritage of history, art and faith together, Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza Venezia and the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument will be seen; the Fountain of the Four Rivers at Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi, Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo will be visited. In the final part of the tour, we will proceed to the Vatican and see St. Peter’s Square and the exterior of the basilica. If security checks, queue density, religious ceremonies and the Vatican’s daily practices permit, entry to St. Peter’s Basilica will also be made. The visit inside the basilica may be carried out in the form of an individual visit; guide narration inside may not be possible.

Day 2: Rome – Naples & Pompei – Rome

After breakfast at the hotel, free time all day. Guests who wish may join the Ancient City of Pompeii & Naples City Tour organized by our guide. In the evening, guests who wish may join the Rome by Night Tour. Overnight in Rome at our hotel.

We begin our tour in the Ancient City of Pompeii, which was buried under ash following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. After exploring the stone streets, houses, shops, baths, frescoes and mosaics with a licensed local guide, we head to Naples. In Naples, Castel Nuovo, the Royal Palace, San Carlo Theatre, Galleria Umberto and the historic center will be seen panoramically. During free time, you can try Naples’ famous street foods and traditional pizza. The entrance fee to the ancient city is not included in the tour price unless otherwise stated.

Day 3: Rome

After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the Nemi & Lakes Region + Castel Romano Outlet Tour organized by our guide. After our tour, overnight at our hotel in Rome.

In the first part of our tour, the Castelli Romani region south of Rome, Castel Gandolfo, Lake Albano and Nemi Village will be explored. After free time in Nemi, we head to Castel Romano McArthurGlen Designer Outlet. Free time will be given for shopping, dining and rest at this open-air shopping center, which offers discounted products from world-famous brands throughout the year. Visit durations are determined by the guide according to the daily flow of the program.

Day 4: Rome - Florence

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Florence. Guests who wish may join the Orvieto Tour organized by our guide en route. After arrival, our Florence city tour begins in this city, the birthplace of Renaissance art, which pioneered European trade in silk, wool, gold and banking, was the capital of the Kingdom of Italy, and the birthplace of many important figures such as Dante, Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. Among the places to be seen are Florence Cathedral (Duomo), the baptistery, the bell tower, Palazzo Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria, which is now used as an open-air museum, the Lanzi Loggia, Uffizi Square, Ponte Vecchio with jewelry shops on it for about 650 years, Republic Square and San Lorenzo Market. After the tour, free time and then transfer to your hotel and overnight at our hotel.

We head to Orvieto, built on high volcanic cliffs. During our walk through narrow stone streets preserving the Medieval atmosphere, the city’s symbol, the magnificent Orvieto Duomo, will be seen from the outside and there will be a photo stop. During free time, guests who wish may individually visit Pozzo di San Patrizio or the underground sections of the city, depending on availability and opening hours; they may also browse local products.

Day 5: Florence 

After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the Great Tuscany: Pisa, Siena & San Gimignano Tour organized by our guide. Overnight at our hotel.

We discover three important cities of Tuscany in one day. Our first stop will be Pisa, where Piazza dei Miracoli, the Leaning Tower, the Cathedral and the Baptistery will be seen from the outside. Then, in San Gimignano, famous for its towers and Medieval texture, Piazza della Cisterna and the historic streets will be visited. Our final stop will be Siena, where we will walk through narrow streets and see the surroundings of Siena Cathedral, the Loggia dei Mercanti and Campo Square, known for the Palio races. Interior visits in the cities are not included in the tour price unless otherwise stated.

Day 6: Florence – Venice 

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Venice. Guests who wish may join the Verona Tour organized by our guide en route. After the tour, we head to Venice. From the Tronchetto port, the final access point for vehicles, we proceed to the historic island by vaporetto. After an enjoyable vaporetto ride, we get off the vaporetto at a point near San Marco Square, the historic center of the city, and begin our tour among the canals. Here, where motor vehicles are absent and all vehicles we are used to seeing in daily life such as police cars, ambulances, garbage trucks, municipal buses, etc. have been replaced by boats. During the walk along Riva degli Schiavoni (Slaves’ Quay), one of Venice’s iconic spots, we see the Bridge of Sighs (Ponte dei Sospiri), San Giorgio Maggiore Island, the exterior of the Doge’s Palace and the two historic columns symbolizing the city’s entrance panoramically. We discover Verona, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the walking tour, Piazza Bra, Arena di Verona, Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori, the Scaliger Tombs and Juliet’s House with its famous balcony will be seen from the outside. After the guide’s narration, free time will be given to explore the city’s historic streets, shop or take a short break.
