Italy Tour from Start to Finish with Turkish Airlines 7 Nights 8 Days Semester Special 2027 (FCO-MXP)

Day 1: Istanbul - Rome

Meet our valued guests in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at the International Departures Terminal of Istanbul Airport at 10:00. Depart for Rome at 13:10 on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1865. After arrival at 14:10, during our tour in this beautiful city, the capital of world history and of Italy, we will panoramically discover Rome’s most important historical landmarks. Our first stop is Colosseo (the Colosseum) and the adjacent Arch of Constantine. Then we enjoy panoramic views of the Roman Forum and the city from Capitol Hill. At Piazza della Bocca della Verità, we see the “Mouth of Truth” statue, and after passing in front of Teatro Marcello, which dates back to antiquity, we reach the banks of the Tiber River. Our tour ends with a view of Castel Sant’Angelo decorating the river. After the tour, guests who wish may join the Angels & Demons Tour organized by our guide. Transfer to our hotel and check-in to our rooms. Overnight in Rome at our hotel.

Optional Tour: Angels & Demons & Vatican Tour Per Person 40 Euro

On our walking tour, where we will discover Rome’s heritage of history, art, and faith together, Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza Venezia, and the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument will be seen; the Fountain of the Four Rivers at Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and Piazza del Popolo will be visited. In the final section of the tour, we proceed to the Vatican to see St. Peter’s Square and the exterior of the basilica. If security checks, queue density, religious ceremonies, and the Vatican’s daily procedures allow, entry to St. Peter’s Basilica will also be possible. The visit inside the basilica may be carried out in individual sightseeing format; guided commentary inside may not be possible.

Day 2: Rome – Naples & Pompeii – Rome

After breakfast at the hotel, free time for the entire day. Guests who wish may join the Pompeii Ancient City & Naples City Tour organized by our guide. In the evening, guests who wish may join the Rome by Night Tour. Overnight in Rome at our hotel.

Optional Tour: Pompeii Ancient City and Naples City Tour – Per Person: 120 Euro

We begin our tour in the Ancient City of Pompeii, which was buried under ashes after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. After exploring the stone streets, houses, shops, baths, frescoes, and mosaics with a licensed local guide, we head to Naples. In Naples, Castel Nuovo, the Royal Palace, San Carlo Theatre, Galleria Umberto, and the historic center will be seen panoramically. During free time, you may try Naples’ famous street food and traditional pizza. Entrance fee to the ancient city is not included in the tour price unless otherwise stated.

Optional Tour: Rome by Night Tour – Per Person 30 Euro

After sunset, Rome’s enchanting historical silhouette illuminated by lights welcomes you with a unique atmosphere on our night tour. On the panoramic city tour we will carry out with our comfortable bus, you will embark on an enjoyable journey among Rome’s historical structures and impressive squares, which take on a completely different beauty at night. As you discover the romantic and mesmerizing nighttime atmosphere of the city, you will have the opportunity to see a side of Rome completely different from the daytime.

Day 3: Rome

After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the Nemi & Lakes Region + Castel Romano Outlet Tour organized by our guide. After our tour, overnight at our hotel in Rome.

Optional Tour: Nemi Village & Lakes Region and Castel Romano McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Tour Per Person 70 Euro 

In the first part of our tour, the Castelli Romani region south of Rome, Castel Gandolfo, Lake Albano, and Nemi Village will be explored. After free time in Nemi, we head to Castel Romano McArthurGlen Designer Outlet. At this open-air shopping center, where world-famous brands offer discounted products throughout the year, free time will be given for shopping, dining, and relaxing. Visiting times are determined by the guide according to the daily flow of the program.

Day 4: Rome - Florence

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Florence. Guests who wish may join the Orvieto Tour organized by our guide on the way. Upon arrival, our Florence city tour begins in this city, the birthplace of Renaissance art, a pioneer in European trade in silk, wool, gold, and banking, the capital of the Kingdom of Italy, and the birthplace of many important figures such as Dante, Leonardo da Vinci, and Michelangelo. Among the sights are the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), the baptistery, the bell tower, the Signoria Palace and Square, now used as an open-air museum, the Lanzi Loggia, the Uffizi Square, Ponte Vecchio with its jewelry shops on it for approximately 650 years, Republic Square, and San Lorenzo Market. After the tour, free time, then transfer to your hotel and overnight at our hotel.

Optional Tour: Orvieto Tour Per Person 40 Euro 

We depart for Orvieto, built on high volcanic cliffs. During our walk through the narrow stone streets preserving the medieval atmosphere, the city’s symbol, the magnificent Orvieto Duomo, will be seen from the outside and a photo break will be given. During free time, guests who wish may visit Pozzo di San Patrizio or the underground sections of the city individually, depending on availability and opening hours; they may also browse local products.

Day 5: Florence 

After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the Great Tuscany: Pisa, Siena & San Gimignano Tour organized by our guide. Overnight at our hotel.

Optional Tour: Great Tuscany (Pisa – Siena – San Gimignano) Tour: Per Person 100 EUR

We discover three important cities of Tuscany in one day. Our first stop in Pisa will be Piazza dei Miracoli, the Leaning Tower, the Cathedral, and the Baptistery, which will be seen from the outside. Then in San Gimignano, famous for its towers and medieval texture, Piazza della Cisterna and the historic streets will be explored. Our final stop in Siena will be a walk through narrow streets to see the area around Siena Cathedral, the Loggia of the Merchants, and Campo Square, known for the Palio races. Interior admissions in the cities are not included in the tour price unless otherwise stated.

Day 6: Florence – Venice 

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Venice. Guests who wish may join the Verona Tour organized by our guide on the way. After the tour, we head to Venice. From Tronchetto port, the final access point for vehicles, we proceed by vaporetto to the historic island. After an enjoyable vaporetto ride, we disembark near San Marco Square, the historic center of the city, and begin our tour among the canals. Here, all motor vehicles we are used to seeing in daily life, such as police cars, ambulances, garbage trucks, municipal buses, etc., have given way to boats. During our walk along Riva degli Schiavoni, one of Venice’s iconic spots, we panoramically see the Bridge of Sighs (Ponte dei Sospiri), San Giorgio Maggiore Island, the exterior of the Doge’s Palace, and the two historic columns symbolizing the city’s entrance. After our walk, we reach San Marco Square, the heart of Venice and one of the city’s most splendid squares. After brief explanations by our guide, we give a photo break and free time so that you can explore this enchanting atmosphere and take beautiful photos. Guests who wish may join the Venice Masterpieces & Gondola Tour, to be organized as an extra, in order to discover Venice’s historical and cultural riches more closely. After our tour, free time and departure to our hotel.

Optional Tour: Romeo & Juliet Love City Verona Tour Per Person: 40 Euro

We explore Verona, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the walking tour, Piazza Bra, Arena di Verona, Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori, the Scaliger Tombs, and Juliet’s House with its famous balcony will be seen from the outside. After the guide’s commentary, free time will be given to explore the city’s historic streets, shop, or take a short break.

Optional Tour: Venice Masterpieces & Gondola Tour Per Person: 50 €

We learn about the historical and architectural features of St. Mark’s Basilica, one of Venice’s most important landmarks; we discover the significance Piazza San Marco has held for centuries as the political and religious center of the Venetian Republic. Then, after detailed information about the Clock Tower (Torre dell'Orologio), the Campanile (Bell Tower), and the Doge’s Palace, we continue our walk through the historic streets that bear witness to Venice’s past. As the tour continues, we explore the Rialto Bridge and the Rialto Market area, one of the important trade points linking Venice’s past and present, by passing through narrow canals, hidden passages, and historic squares that reflect Venice’s enchanting atmosphere. We have the opportunity to observe the lively atmosphere of this area up close and take beautiful photos that reflect Venice’s unique character. We crown our Venice experience with a gondola tour, one of the most enjoyable and unforgettable parts of our program. As we glide through the historic canals on traditional gondolas, we discover the city’s unique architecture and romantic atmosphere from a completely different angle. Day 7: Venice – Lake Como and Town - Milan

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Milan. Upon arrival in Milan, during our Milan city tour, Castello Sforzesco, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Duomo Cathedral, and the city’s fashion district will be seen panoramically. After the guide’s commentary, free time will be given in the city center. After free time, guests who wish may join the Lake Como & Towns Tour organized by our guide. After our tour, we depart for the hotel and overnight at our Milan hotel.

Day 8: Milan – Istanbul

• Guests who do not join optional tours may, depending on the tour operation, be dropped off at a suitable rest area, gas station, shopping mall, or a safe point designated by the guide. At the end of the tour, they are picked up from the same point and rejoin the group.
