ANKARA – ZURICH – LUGANO – COMO – MILAN
After baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures that we will carry out 3 hours before the flight at Ankara Esenboğa Airport International Terminal, we fly to Zurich at 07:20 with SunExpress Airlines’ direct scheduled flight XQ732. After arriving at Zurich Airport at 09:45 local time, we depart for Lugano with our private coach waiting for us at the airport. Upon arrival in Lugano, we will take a peaceful walk along the shores of Lake Lugano, which, located within Switzerland’s borders, will fascinate us with its unique nature, magnificent view, and city park, and we will enjoy the extraordinary scenery by photographing the beautiful nature. At the end of the tour, we head to Como. Como is a center located in the Lombardy region and stands out with its historic buildings and orderly urban fabric. Its city squares, cathedral, and shoreline offer visitors a compact and easy-to-access area to explore. Lake Como is one of Italy’s best-known lakes, and the hills surrounding it, shoreline settlements, and orderly transport routes complete the region’s natural appearance. The lake area is a region regularly visited throughout the year, with a balanced view between city and nature. In our Como & Lake Como tour, we will first arrive at Como city center and view the cathedral area, squares, and coastline from the outside. Then free time will be given on the shore of Lake Como; during this time, visitors will be able to stroll around the lake, take photos, or explore the surroundings. MILAN – VERONA – (Venice Masterpieces Tour) – (Venice Colorful Islands & Gondola Tour) – VENICE
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Verona. Verona, which is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, also hosts Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and the home of William Shakespeare’s famous work Romeo and Juliet, which tells the world’s most famous love story. After our panoramic walking tour in Verona, where we will walk through Via Mazzini (the main square) and Erbe Square, surrounded by many shops, cafes, and stores, and where we can also see Verona Cathedral, we complete our tour and head to our hotel in the Venice region. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Venice Masterpieces Tour program (85 Euro – including vaporetto and city entrance fees). In the first part of our tour in Venice, we will see major iconic works such as St. Mark’s Square, built of stone and marble with its columns brought from Istanbul, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace designed and used as a symbol of magnificence and power, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile Bell Tower, after which we will enjoy a pleasant walk along the streets of Venice, connected by bridges and stretching along narrow canals. At the end of the tour, during the free time offered only to our guests joining the Venice Masterpieces Tour, guests who wish may join our extra Venice Colorful Islands and Gondola Tour (75 Euro). Upon arrival in Florence, we begin our tour with lunch at a local restaurant. In Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we will first see the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral from the outside, which immediately attracts attention with its orange-colored dome and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the cathedral’s most remarkable features is the bronze door called the “Gate of Paradise,” where prophetic stories, some of which are mentioned in the Holy Quran, are depicted as representations. Later, Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to invite the public to parliament, Signoria Square, which for centuries was Florence’s political and social center and where Michelangelo’s famous David statue is located, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops, are among the places to be seen. Known for its wild strawberries and called the “Strawberry Village” for this feature, Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After our sightseeing tour in Nemi, where narrow streets open onto squares and where the enchanting lake and valley view combine with the scent of strawberries in the air, we take you on a historical journey through Rome and its icons, known as Urbs aput mundi, that is, the “city at the center of the world,” offering art, history, music, shopping, sunshine, and cuisine, with buildings in different styles spanning from antiquity to the Renaissance. While the works created by architects competing with one another attract thousands of tourists to the city in every season, Rome, with all its beauty and aesthetics, can carry even these crowds without overwhelming people. During this fairy-tale journey on the world-famous Bernina Train, built between 1898 and 1904 and now listed on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, which adorns the dreams of many travel lovers, we will have the chance to watch and photograph extraordinary scenery. After an approximately 2-hour enjoyable train ride, we arrive at St. Moritz Station. After our arrival in St. Moritz, Switzerland’s natural wonder and a popular destination for the jet set, and after a short free time and sightseeing tour, we depart for Zurich with our waiting vehicle.
