After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Verona. Verona, which is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, also hosts Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and the home of William Shakespeare’s famous work Romeo and Juliet, which tells the world’s most famous love story. After our panoramic walking tour in Verona, where we will walk through Via Mazzini (the main square) and Erbe Square, surrounded by many shops, cafes, and stores, and where we can also see Verona Cathedral, we complete our tour and head to our hotel in the Venice region. One of the cathedral’s most remarkable features is the bronze door called the “Gate of Paradise,” where prophetic stories, some of which are mentioned in the Holy Quran, are depicted as representations.
