After ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, depart for Baku at 13:25 on Ajet Airlines flight VF177. Arrival in Baku at 17:15 local time. After passport, baggage, and customs procedures, we begin exploring Baku, where East and West, history and modern architecture meet in perfect harmony. We start our program with Mountain Park, one of the city’s most impressive panoramic points. From here, the Caspian Sea, Flame Towers, and Baku’s mesmerizing city view are observed; photo stops will immortalize these unique scenes. During the city tour, Baku Olympic Stadium, which hosts international events and stands out with its modern architecture, SOCAR Tower, one of the symbols of the city skyline representing Azerbaijan’s energy power, Governor’s Garden, one of Baku’s oldest and most orderly green areas, Government House with its magnificent Soviet-era architecture, and the State Philharmonic Hall, regarded as the heart of the city’s cultural and artistic life, will be seen panoramically. We will also pass through parts of the world-famous Formula 1 city circuit hosted by Baku, allowing us to closely experience the city’s sporting and organizational side. Our tour continues along Baku Boulevard, stretching along the Caspian Sea coast. On the way, the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum, notable for its architecture, will be seen. Then free time will be given on Nizami Street (Torgovaya), one of the city’s liveliest and most popular spots. Here, there will be an opportunity to enjoy the area among historic buildings, chic cafes, and shops. After free time, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. Accommodation: Wyndham Baku 4* etc. - BAKU Route: Istanbul – Baku Hotel Check-in Time: Estimated 19:00 depending on road conditions Day 2 Baku (Modern Baku and Old City) After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the Baku city tour with our guide (55 USD). The tour begins with a panoramic view of the White City area, one of modern Baku’s symbols, and information will be provided about the city’s contemporary architecture and new living spaces. Then the Military Trophy Park (entrance included) will be visited, and our guide will share insights about Azerbaijan’s recent history and national values. After the tour, free time will be given for shopping and rest, and one of Baku’s leading shopping centers will be visited. The program continues with a visit to the Modern Art Museum (entrance included), where works by Azerbaijani artists will be seen, followed by a photo stop at the Heydar Aliyev Center, designed by the world-famous architect Zaha Hadid. The tour continues with a short walk around Governor’s Garden and the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall, and in the final part of the day the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old City (Icherisheher) will be visited. In this area, the Shirvanshahs’ Palace, Maiden Tower, historic caravanserais, mosques, and traditional baths will be seen from the outside, allowing you to feel the historical atmosphere up close. In this tour, the legendary Gobustan National Reserve, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (entrance included), will be visited. Rock carvings dating back approximately 10,000 years will be seen, and beforehand, detailed information about Gobustan’s history, geological structure, flora, and fauna will be provided at the modern and interactive museum. On the return route, Flag Square, Crystal Hall, the area where the world’s first mechanical oil well was located (1846), and Bibi-Heybat Mosque will be seen panoramically. Need to Know
INFORMATION - For shopping and spending in all countries included in the program during the tour, having Euros is sufficient. In regions where local currency is used, the guide will assist with currency exchange. - Comfortable walking shoes or sports shoes should be preferred during the trip. It is advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evening. - On our tours, seat rotation is applied daily in the bus seating arrangement; fixed seats and front-seat guarantees are not provided. Seat changes are organized by the vehicle guide. - When entering Turkey from abroad, in order to bring items (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.), a minimum stay of 3 days is required. - Duty-free shopping limits when entering Turkey from abroad: Cigarettes: 3 cartons; Alcoholic beverages: 1 liter of alcoholic beverage (excluding alcoholic beverages containing more than 22% alcohol, wine and champagne), Alcoholic beverages: 2 liters of alcoholic beverage (including alcoholic beverages containing less than 22% alcohol, wine and champagne), Perfume: 600 ml, Makeup or skincare products: 5 items, Chocolate and confectionery: 2 kg, Coffee: 1 kg, Tea: 1 kg. - Guides may make changes to the flow of the program depending on weather and road conditions, provided that all places listed in the program are shown. - Guests who register for the tour have the right to cancel free of charge up to 30 days before the tour. If the cancellation is made less than 30 days before the tour date, a 30% penalty applies; if 20 days or less remain, a 100% penalty applies. Unfortunately, documents such as hospital reports or workplace permission letters obtained from authorities in Turkey and submitted together with the cancellation request are not accepted for cancellation of hotel and service bookings outside Turkey. - The tour program is arranged with a minimum participation of 25 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the latest cancellation notice date is 20 days before departure. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be announced by Viyatravel. - If the tour program only provides category information without specifying a hotel name and/or includes options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by Viyatravel 2 days before departure. - During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than those specified in kilometers. In such a case, information will be provided by Viyatravel 15 days before the departure date. - Triple rooms are provided subject to hotel availability, and in such rooms the bed assigned to the third person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of one large bed + one extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable or coach beds, participants booking as a third person and/or child are deemed to have accepted the possible cramped conditions in the room and the bed type. Child discounts are valid only for one child in the relevant age group staying with two adults. - Breakfasts included in the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and are generally offered as a limited continental breakfast menu consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee. For groups, it may be served in a separate hall assigned to the group. - Panoramic city tours included in the package are tours of up to 2-3 hours organized for general introduction of the cities, conducted from the vehicle with guide narration, and do not include museum or archaeological site entrance fees. Viyatravel is not responsible if panoramic tours or other tours specified in the program cannot be carried out on the relevant day and time due to restrictions imposed by local authorities, closures caused by any event, closed roads, or weather conditions making the tour impossible. Some tours may be carried out by public transport or on foot where roads are closed or vehicle access is not permitted, if possible. - Waiting times at customs gates crossed by road during the journey may exceed standard times; Viyatravel cannot be held responsible for any negative consequences arising from these delays. - Extra tours are arranged by the local service provider we work with, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If the required number is not met, the tours cannot be operated, or the prices, content, and vehicle used for extra tours may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide depending on the opening/closing status of museums and sites at the destinations and weather conditions. - Participation in extra tours is optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join extra tours arranged during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest stop on the route. These passengers will be dropped off at a roadside rest stop before the extra tour begins and picked up from the same point after the tour is completed. - For those participating in tours by air, check-in and boarding procedures are personal responsibilities and must be completed by the guest before the flight at the relevant airline counters at the airport or online through the airlines’ websites. - Viyatravel is not responsible for passengers who do not arrive at the airport at the times announced by Viyatravel, who do not complete check-in and boarding on time, or who complete check-in and boarding on time but do not board the aircraft. The cost of new round-trip tickets and all transfer expenses in the destination area required for those who miss the flight in order to join the tour shall be borne by them. - Viyatravel is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. Delays may occur on scheduled and special flights, or departure times may change before the trip and flight. Viyatravel is obliged to notify such changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the trip accepting the risk of schedule changes. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax or airport service fees. - The types of vehicles used on our tours are classified as follows according to the number of participants. The vehicle type below is assigned based on the number of passengers on each tour. These dimensions are set at 40x20x55 cm and 8 kg. - All guests are deemed to have accepted the above-mentioned terms by completing the tour purchase.
