Tour Program
Day 1 Istanbul – Niš-Skopje
Gathering at 14:00 in front of the Air Serbia counter at the Istanbul Airport International Departure Terminal. After ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we will depart for Niš at 17:00 with Air Serbia Airlines flight JU1805. Arrival in Niš at 17:25 local time. After baggage, passport, and customs procedures, we start our tour in the city of Niš, one of the oldest cities in history and the birthplace of Emperor Constantine, the founder of the city of Istanbul. After a panoramic tour of this third-largest city in Serbia, we head to the capital of North Macedonia, Skopje. Upon arrival in Skopje, after a short panoramic tour, we will proceed to our hotel. Day 2 Skopje – Kosovo (Prizren) – Skopje (Balkan Night)
After breakfast, we depart for Kosovo, which has a large Muslim-Albanian population, for a tour. First, we visit the 19th-century Ottoman Mansion near the capital of Kosovo, Pristina, and the tomb of Sultan Murad (Hüdavendigar) who was martyred by Obilic during the Kosovo Battle, one of the greatest victories of the Ottomans in the Balkans. Then, we proceed to Prizren. During our panoramic tour of Prizren, one of the prettiest cities in the Balkans, we will see the Turkish Bath from the 17th century, the Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and Prizren Fortress. After the tour ends, we will have free time. After the tour, we return to Skopje.
Upon our arrival in Skopje, we start our tour of this city, where two different cultures are separated by the famous Vardar River; first we will see the gigantic Alexander the Great statue, then cross the Historical Skopje Stone Bridge over the Vardar River, witnessing how the cultures can change abruptly. We proceed to the Skopje Turkish Bazaar, one of the most qualified bazaars of the Ottoman in the Balkans. Our tour starts at the entrance of the bazaar, passing the statues and then the historical Davut Paşa bath. We will visit Kapan Han and Murat Pasha Mosque which has survived earthquakes and end our tour. After our visits, one hour of free time will be provided for shopping in the Turkish Bazaar. Shushka peppers, Ustrumca peanuts, and traditional shoes can be among what you might purchase. After the tour, we will have a Balkan night at a local restaurant determined by our guide, included in the tour price. After the entertainment, transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 3 Skopje – Matka Canyon – Tetova (Kalkandelen) – Ohrid
After breakfast, we proceed to the Matka Canyon, known for its stunning beauty. After a nature walk, guests may take a boat tour of the canyon during their free time. After the tour, we head to Tetova, Macedonia’s second-largest city, inhabited mostly by Muslim Albanians. We will see this city panoramically and then visit the Alaca Mosque, which has unique architecture rare in the Balkans, before proceeding through Mavrovo Mountain to Ohrid. Upon arrival, we will start our tour of Ohrid, which is one of the largest lakes in the Balkans. We begin our Ohrid city tour at the Harbor Square, explaining the statues and walking through the historical Ohrid houses, famous for the filming of the series Elveda Rumeli, while also seeing the historic Ottoman houses, the Church of St. Sophia, and the famous Ohrid Pearl. After free time, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 4 Ohrid - St Naum - Elbasan - Tirana - Shkodra
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart. After about an hour of travel through magnificent landscapes, we arrive at St. Naum. We visit the source where Lake Ohrid is born. The beautiful view here is sure to take your breath away. After passing through the city of Elbasan, we head to the capital, Tirana, a mountainous country that has endured wars for most of the 20th century and 40 years of dictatorship under Enver Hoxha, which was founded in 1614 by Suleiman Pasha and became the capital of Albania in 1920. We will conduct a panoramic tour of this beautiful city, which will include sights such as Ethem Bey Mosque, the historical Clock Tower, the National Museum, the Opera and Ballet Building, the Parliament and Prime Ministry Buildings, the Presidential Palace, the statue of Mother Teresa, and Skanderbeg Square. After the Tirana tour, we will have some free time. Next, we reach the city of Shkodra and check into our hotel. ISKODRA

Day 5 Shkodra – St. Stefan – Budva – Kotor - Trebinje (Medjugorje)
After breakfast at our hotel, we proceed to Montenegro, one of the world's youngest countries. Our first stop is St. Stefan, a former fishing village that has been purchased and turned into a holiday destination for the elite, which can be seen from a panoramic view (depending on availability in the vehicle parking area). We continue our journey along the scenic coastal roads of the Adriatic, before viewing Budva panoramically, then continue to Kotor, an important historical and natural treasure and a tourist attraction. Here, walking in the Stari Grad (Old Town-Castle), you will familiarize yourself with this charming town. After the Kotor tour, we proceed to our accommodation city. Accommodation in Medjugorje, Trebinje, or surrounding areas. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 6 Medjugorje – Mostar – Blagaj - Konjic – Sarajevo
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for the historic city of Mostar. Upon arrival in Mostar, we will walk on a city tour where we first see the Mostar Bridge (constructed in 1557 by architect Hayreddin, a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture). The bridge was destroyed in 1992 during the war by Croatian artillery but was reopened in 2004 with significant contributions from the Republic of Turkey. We will explore the old town bazaar. After our free time, we will proceed to Blagaj, the Land of the Alperens (the spiritual warriors of the Ottoman Era). After our visits to Blagaj, we proceed to the capital, Sarajevo.We will stop in the city of Konjic (Konyitz), where we will see the famous Konjic bridge, restored by Turkey, and take a break to enjoy coffee by the Neretva River.After our break, we reach the capital Sarajevo, and we will stroll through the main street of Sarajevo, Baščaršija. Our tour will include the renowned Sebil fountain, an iconic symbol of the city, followed by a visit to the Morica Han, a historical caravanserai. We will visit the Hüsrev Bey Mosque, which is related to Kanuni Sultan Suleiman. Following this, we will see the Clock Tower and the famous memorial “Eternal Flame” and have some free time, where guests may take photos of the Latin Bridge, known as the site of the outbreak of World War I. We will have Bosnian Meatballs, included in the tour price, at a local restaurant. After the tour and free time, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 7 Sarajevo – Belgrade
After breakfast, we depart for Belgrade. After our journey, we will start our walking tour in Belgrade, the new symbol of vitality and liveliness, which is one of the oldest cities in Europe. We start with the finest street in the city, Knez Mihailova. Next, we will visit the Belgrade Fortress, where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was wounded during the conquest that was fulfilled by Kanuni Sultan Suleiman with numerous landmarks included, such as the Key Monument, the French statue, Istanbul Gate, Military Museum, Tomb of Damat Ali Pasha, Sokullu Fountain, and a terrace area where we will see the beautiful junction of the Danube and Sava rivers. After the tour, we will have some free time. Accommodation in our hotel in Belgrade.

Need to Know
- During the tour, to be able to shop and spend in all countries included in the program, it is sufficient to have Euros. In regions where local currency is used, the guide will assist with currency exchange. - During the trip, comfortable walking shoes or sports shoes should be preferred. It is advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evening. - On our tours, seat rotation is applied daily in the seating arrangement, and fixed seats or front-row seats are not guaranteed. Seat changes are organized by the tour guide. - To bring goods (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.) into Turkey from abroad, you must have stayed at least 3 days. - When entering Turkey from abroad, the duty-free shopping limits are: Cigarettes: 3 cartons; Alcoholic beverages: 1 liter of alcoholic drinks with more than 22% alcohol (excluding wine and champagne); Alcoholic beverages: 2 liters of alcoholic drinks with less than 22% alcohol (including wine and champagne); Perfume: 600 ml; Makeup or skincare products: 5 items; Chocolate and confectionery: 2 kg; Coffee: 1 kg; Tea: 1 kg. - Tour guides may make changes to the itinerary flow depending on weather and road conditions, provided that all places specified in the program are shown. - Guests who register for the tour have the right to cancel free of charge up to 30 days before the tour date. If the cancellation is made less than 30 days before the tour date, a 30% penalty applies; if 20 days or less remain, a 100% penalty applies. Unfortunately, documents such as hospital reports, workplace leave documents, etc. obtained from authorities in Turkey and submitted with the cancellation request are not accepted for the cancellation of hotel and services to be used outside Turkey. - Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation of 25 people. If sufficient participation is not reached for the trip, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour departure. Cancellations due to insufficient participation will be notified by Viyatravel. - In cases where only category information is given without specifying a hotel name in the tour program and/or there are alternative hotels for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by Viyatravel 2 days before departure. - During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used farther than the stated distances. In such a case, information will be provided by Viyatravel 15 days before the tour departure. - Triple rooms are provided according to hotel availability, and in such rooms the bed allocated to the third person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding or coach beds, participants making reservations for a third person and/or child are deemed to have accepted the possible cramped conditions and the bed type. Child discounts apply only to one child staying with 2 adults and within the applicable age group. - Breakfasts included in the tour program are served according to the breakfast culture of the country visited and are generally a limited menu known as continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate dining hall allocated to the group. - Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are short tours of up to 2-3 hours, organized for general introduction to the cities and conducted from the vehicle with guide commentary, excluding museum and archaeological site entrances. If the panoramic tours, as well as other tours specified in the program, cannot be carried out because the places cannot be visited or entered by local authorities on the relevant day and time, or due to closed roads because of any event, or if weather conditions make the tour impossible, Viyatravel is not responsible for the inability to carry out such tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot where roads are closed or vehicle access is not permitted. - Waiting times at border gates crossed by road during the journey may exceed standard times, and Viyatravel cannot be held responsible for any inconveniences arising from such delays. - Extra tours are organized by the local service provider used by Viyatravel with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If the required number is not met, the excursions cannot be carried out, or the prices, content, and vehicles used for extra tours may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of tours may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of museums and archaeological sites at the destinations and weather conditions. - Extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join the extra tours organized during the trip are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest stop along the route. These passengers will be dropped off at a roadside rest area before the extra tour begins and picked up from the same point after the tour is completed. - For those joining tours by air, check-in and boarding are personal procedures and must be completed by the guest before the flight at the relevant airline counters at the airport or online on the airline’s website. - Viyatravel is not responsible for passengers who fail to be present at the airport at the times announced by Viyatravel for participation in the tour, who do not complete check-in and boarding on time, or who complete check-in and boarding on time but do not board the plane. People who miss the flight must bear all costs themselves, including the new round-trip air tickets required to join the tour and all transfer expenses in the destination region. - Viyatravel acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. On scheduled and special flights, there may be a risk of delays, or times may change before the current trip and flight. Viyatravel is obliged to notify such changes as soon as possible. The passenger purchases the trip accepting the risk of schedule changes. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport taxes or airport service fees. - The vehicle types used on our tours are classified as follows according to the number of participants.
